Believe it or not pick up lines are not used very often these days. People still love pick up lines they look them up on the internet and share them with their friends. Though They have gotten a bad reputation for only being used by any guy.
But the reason that pick up lines are so rare is that it is difficult to master the timing and delivery of the really great pick up line with out being labeled cheesy or nasty. If you cannot master the delivery just do not use them. But there r few people with high Communication skills too who know how to use these lines..

McGuire said she was questioned by the officers for several hours before being released. "Waking up to an empty airplane and not being able to get out was horrifying. I know that's a dramatic word, but it was a little much," McGuire said. She is being represented by high-profile Michigan attorney Geoffrey Fieger.

The political heat may be on between India and Pakistan but on the sidelines a one-and-a-half-year-old Pakistan boy has been saved by Indian doctors, partly by medical expertise and also probably because of the same genetic roots of both the countries! The 18-month-old Shaheel suffered from a genetic defect called HLH -- "Hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis" a hyperactive immune system that was killing his own body cells. The only cure was a stem cell transplant. While doctors in Pakistan could not find any, he was lucky to find two matched donors in India. The baby was in immediate need of a bone marrow transplant. But since he did not have any siblings and had no donor in the family who matched his profile, doctors approached the Reliance Cord Bank in Mumbai.
Two cord blood units matching his profile were procured from the bank. Cord blood is obtained from the umbilical cord of a newborn and is used to treat various blood-related and genetic disorders, as it contains stem cells. It took Rs 2.5 lakh to procure each cord blood unit, and the entire procedure cost the family Rs 17 lakh. In the United States, the same procedure will cost around Rs 2.5 crore.

Malwuyee Gidha is not a female dance as the name gidha might infer but it is a male dance. It originated in Malwa and more specifically Moga, Faridkot area where young and old villagers after a day of hard work in the fields would get together in one corner outside the village in open space and will sing boliyaN and dance in a pretty much free style while making rythm from dholl as well the farming tools that they have with them like kayee(shovel), ramba(small digging tool), their gandhasay, kohaaRiyaN etc.....It was more popular amongst old males than younger ones. Old guys with white flowing beards would sing and dance to the self made tunes. All the guys would get together in a circle and one will get in the center and sing some long boli mostly depicting their hard days work, failed romance or some other day to day subject.
After every line of his boli the guys in the circle will say something encouraging like "shaava" "balle" etc and when he repeats the last line of the boli which will be the climax of the boli many others will step inside the circle and dance and sing and shout while moving their working tools mentioned above in rythm. With their white flowing beards and dancing in cirlces being one with their souls, they all most present the scene of sufis dancing on the qawaalis at the mazaars of dead sufi saints.
Those days of working hard all day and then enjoying the evenings are gone. Younger generation is more tuned to TV and wine while the old ones with white beards somehow have forgotten how to enjoy life and are instead busy trying to please the unseen, the unfelt gods and some jannat/sawarag aspirations. The instruments used in the Malwai Giddha are not merely for show. The performer has to play it in rhythm. The performer needs to know not only how to play the instrument but also the way to carry it. The instruments are decorated.
The folk instruments used in Malwai Giddha are:
Chimta, Tumbi, Sap, Buckchu, Gadvi-Chhitar, Kato, Kartara, Dholki

2012 is expected to be year of great positive change. It is not the end of the world! Back in 1899 something was identified called Schumann Cavity Resonance. After blocking Facebook and Youtube, Pakistani authorities on Friday further widened the crackdown on websites with blasphemous contents by restricting access to popular social networking website Twitter.
Pakistani users were unable to log into Twitter after internet service providers blocked access to the site. When users tried to log into site, there browsers displayed a message that said "this site is restricted."
Over the past two days, Pakistan telecommunication authority has blocked websites like Facebook and Youtube, citing "sacrilegious contents" on the websites as the reason for the action.
the ban is now in effect until May 31, when the Pakistani court will conduct a hearing to determine whether to make it permanent.Over 450 URLs have been blocked so far by the authorities.
The controversy began with the Facebook feature called "Everybody Draw Muhammad Day". Depictions of the Prophet are forbidden in Islam.The page contains drawings and caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad and characters from other religions, including Hinduism and Christianity.
The video hosting site has been blocked by countries before - by Turkey for videos that insulted the country's founding father Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, by Thailand for rude content about the king, and in Morocco for hosting content about Western Saharan independence.
YouTube was also blocked in the Muslim country in 2007 for about a year for what Pakistan called un-Islamic videos.he publications of cartoons of the prophet in Danish newspapers in 2005 sparked deadly protests in Muslim countries.
