I waited for a reply..
Every day and every night..
Yes, waited for a reply...
From sunshine till moonrise..
Day after day..
N day after night..
I kept waiting for the reply..
From sunshine till moonrise..
Days passed on..
N did pass the night..
My wait never ended..
In the ray of hope of light ..
The needle of the watches started to tease..
As the wait for the reply never seemed to cease..
Emotions tht used to flow like the breeze..
Had gone cold as the ice..
I often did wonder..
If being patient was so wise..
The following Day passed on,
N again came the night..
No sleep did I get again,
With even my eyes shut tight..
I stared at the full moon..
Who was the king of the night
Wishing he could tell me the time..
Tell me the time..
When,I, was gonna get the reply..
The stars started shining,
As if they were winking at my plight..
My heart was like the kite..
Tht was Lost in thundering light
The moon did find me..in brightness of his night
He Did notice me lonely, in the darkness of my life
The next day he came,
He came With a vertical smile..
Seeing the quarter moon
My heart got the strength to fight
The stars were shining again,
As if they were still winking at my plight
I decided to strengthen myself..
N be patient for the reply..
The following day there was a rainbow..
But no moon at night..
Stars were still shining..
But there's was No glow of the night..
Darkness was conquering..
Both the sky and the night..
A star fell from the sky in middle of the night..
I closed my eyes n wished with a heart of delight..
Maybe it was the moon..
Tht had gone above the roof of sky ..
To kick down the star tht Was winking at my plight
Day after day..
N day after night..
I still wait for the reply..
From sunshine to moonrise.
I know the falling star cannot decide the fate of my life
But the feeling for the wait..
is just like a wine deep dug in a ocean..
tht keeps geeting better with time..
