bhai veer singh ji






Supne vich tusi mile asanu
Asan ja galvkri pai
Nira noor tusi hath na aye
Sadi kambdi rahi kalai

Ja charana te sheesh nivaya
Sade mathe shoh na pai

Tusi uche asi nive sa
Sadi pesh na gaya kai

Fir lar farne nu uth dure
Par lar oh bijli lehira

Ud da janda par oh apni
shuh sanu giya lai

Mitti chamek pai eh moi
Te tusi luha vich lishke
Bijli kund gayi thrrandi
Hun chakachund he shai..




You came to me at last in my dream:
Gasping, I struggled, trying to enclose you in my arms.
Ah, but your effulgent self slipped, gliding from my grasp,
Leaving my arms the poorer, streched out and trembling.

I bent my head that it might touch your feet;
Your touch eluded me still.
Abased as I was, how could my fumbling hands,
attain to your exalted self,
Helpless in the uttermost in reaching out to you?
Then I rushed up to touch your waving scarf;
This too, like a lightning - flash, evaded me,
Swift in its swirling -
One touch, one faint and momentry touch,

Blessed my being
And in this blessedness
A spirit filled my lifeless clay,
Brightness burst out at every pore:
It was all in a flash, a trembling iinstant,
My eyes were left dazed by the blinding brilliance.

I wish I could edit this post myself... mishrooooooo kuj tuhano samaj ni lagda main kida dasyya si ki karn nu  :loll: :loll:
