Publicise the pj chatroom

So you know how the pj chat is private, only pj members can use it. How about we make it public? There are cons and pros i agree. But let me tell you, if we publicise it, it'll attract more numbers of people, if they like what they see, they might consider joining pj as well. Like i remember, i never wanted to join a forum. I thought going to punjabi chatrooms were a hell lot easier, no need to sign up etc. But i don't regret signing up to pj though(i do sometimes, hahahah), going to public chatrooms to learn punjabi and meet punjabi people didn't turn out so well. All i got were indian dudes trying to get my contact details and whatever.  :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:  I was like waheguru! but really, it's good fun and a brilliant way to promote pj, both the chat and the forum.

NO all people do in chat is fight and swear at each other. so I dont think PJ chat gives a good picture of PJ site.

We have chat mods for a reason!  /:)  and this would be a challenge they can be willing to take on. Whether it was private or public, there are still people that don't obey the chatroom rules. So what difference would it make? It's not our job to make pj look good, that's the staffs job. As far as i know, promoting pj to bring other people together is more important than worrying about what could and what ifs.

If only it was that easy! in chatrooms, all you gotta do is choose a nickname, whilst if you had to register, you'd need to go through s**t like filling out, verifying, doing the layout etc.

Then there is no way of controlling the chat. As, the ids won't be registered, anyone can come and go on a swearing train and you would have no way of dealing with it!

But it's the chat mods job. They're chat mods for a reason. And as you can see, there are still people swearing even if it's private and they're registered.
