From above picture, you will get an idea, wots Northern Lights. The northern lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are extremely bright, multi-colored, and fast-moving lights seen in the night sky. They usually appear in the northern hemisphere polar region, caused when electrically charged particles from the Sun (known as a solar wind) react to the earth's magnetic field by emitting light. The southern hemisphere has its own version, aurora australis; it's similar to aurora borealis but accompanied by sounds. Astronomers have witnessed auroras on Jupiter and Saturn. Around half millions ppz visit Finland every year to watch Northern Lights.

LOL. I dunno latitude. There are a lot of Native Indian movies here in Canada that always mention Northern Lights.
