Kaleyan kithe bai ke, tere bare sochde rehan de.

Dil di sunee deewar te, ik tasveer ji tangi rehndi hai.

Tere naal kitian gallan nu, nit dohrande rehan de.

Aj vi usi baud de thale ,nit ja baethda haan.

Aadat ji ho gai hai, phatt kurad-de rehan di.

Aadat jehi ho gai hai, tenu apna apna kehan di.

Roz darwaje wal tak-ke, dil nu dilase den di.

Umeed hai ke tu, ik din tan wapas ayengi.

Aadat jehi ho gai hai, saanu judai sehn de....
