The popularity of Cell Phone Cinema festival is increasing day by day. “We are excited that the third festival of Cell Phone Cinema is fixed for the 3rd week of January and many renowned film makers have agreed to be there with us in Noida Film City” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios while releasing the first poster of the festival.

The young crowd of film makers lined up to collect the entry forms from the festival office. “The concept is so different that it has to attract the upcoming film makers of the world” said Prof Karl Bardosh of New York University. The last date to receive entries is 15th January and films which are to be received in any three categories can be uploaded at www.bat*****zz.com. The categories are Fiction/Music Video, News Gathering and a Still Photo.

The well known actor and a performer in feature films like Wanted, Aaloo Chat, Sing Is King, Dhamaal ect. Manoj Pahwa gave acting tips to the students of Asian Academy Of Film And Television and Asian School Of Media Studies on his visit to the 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Noida Film City.

A special workshop has been planned at Marwah Studios where students had the full privilege to interact and ask questions related to carrier in acting and how to manage the affairs in the Film and TV industry.

“We are happy that this kind of workshop could be planned during Global festival of films, this makes the whole festival more interesting and creative in its nature” said Sandeep Marwah, the president of Marwah Studios, a creative enterprises and the sponsors of Global Festival.

“I am feeling more elevated that I have been given this kind of duty in International event to guide the young group of actors, My relation with Marwah Studios is very long, when I started my carrier at Delhi” said Manoj Pahwa .

Later, the president of the festival Sandeep Marwah honoured Manoj Pahwa with the life membership of International Film And Television Club.

The second segment was for short films. More than 90 films have been received from 27 countries in the competition. It was the third and the final day of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary Films 2009 at Marwah Studios where ample films had already been displayed for the documentary film makers, media, film and TV students, a huge international gathering was anxiously waiting for the .formal closing when a range of stars were brought to the stage to launch Radio Noida 107.4FM“It may be the closing ceremony of Global festival of films 2009 but it’s the beginning of Non stop Radio Programs at our radio station RADIO NOIDA 107.4FM” said Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Group of Creative Enterprises.

“I am happy that I am once again part of this new venture at Marwah Studios” said Sanjay Kapoor. I congratulate the whole team of Global Festival for their honest and hard work towards the promotion of our entertainment industry” he added “I have never seen this kind of International huge event at any film school, I admire the energy being generated at this campus” said Rahul Roy. “I feel this is the Golden Palace of Entertainment where every aspect of media is exchanged with the film, TV and Media students .This festival is the judicial mix of professionals and new comers of this trade” narrated Rrajat Barjatya of Rajshri.com.” I am coming back very soon, I have loved this place” said Prinyanka the charming and attractive leading girl of many movies.” I feel I have gathered more than what I could give to this festival” said Karl Bardosh the renowned film director and professor of Tisch School of Arts, New York university.

“We are now the brand ambassadors of Radio Noida 107.4FM” said Sajid Wajid khan, and sang on many tunes for Radio Noida. More than 600 participants present there converted the gala dinner into a musical show that evening. The Radio Noida was inaugurated with the live coverage of the whole event .Later Mohit Marwah, Akshay Marwah and Raghav Marwah creative directors of Marwah Studios and Suman Bajaj Kalra the festival Director paid vote of thanks to all the departments of Asian Academy of film and TV, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, AAFT School of Graphic and Animation, IFTC, IFTRC involved with the festival.

Some of the finest documentary films were screened during the day followed by the release of set of seven technical books on film making prepared by the documentation department of International Film And Television Research Centre of Marwah Studios on the first day of 2nd Global festival of Documentary films 2009 at inaugural dinner at Noida Film City.

Basu Chatterjee, Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa together released the set of books at the glamorous evening supported by the presence of media, film and tv personalities.” I am pleased that the organizers have not forgotten the importance of film and tv education even during this glamorous and happening evening, I endorse the idea of Global Festival of Films” said Basu Chatterjee .”Releasing book is no less than a step towards spirituality, I am elevated by this gesture” said Pankaj Parashar. “I must carry these books and study them I will gain knowledge” said Manoj Pahwa.

The president of the festival Sandeep Marwah spoke about the International Film and TV Research Centre and the festival director Suman Bajaj Kalra paid vote of thanks.

The Red Carpet became the centre of attraction on the opening of 2nd Global Festival of Documentary films at Film City Noida organized by International Film And Television Club under the president ship of Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios a renowned Media, Film and TV personality of this part of the World.

“I have always believe in promoting young and talented film makers by creating an opportunity for them in this beautiful trade” said Sandeep Marwah to the international press gathered along with film makers, participants, who”s who of entertainment industry, film and TV students from all over the World.

A formal inauguration took place by lighting the lamp by the renowned, veteran writer, producer and Director Basu Chatterjee along with film director Pankaj Parashar, Manoj Pahwa the famous actor ,Tarry Parrish of Ice Academy, U.K, film maker Shekh Nasir with Suman Bajaj Kalra festival Director and President of the festival Sandeep Marwah.

The festival started with the scheduled program of screening films in three theatres for the first hour followed by huge list of films to follow. “Not much festivals in India promoting documentaries, this festival is the real breathing to the documentary film makers and that too at this scale” said Basu Chatterjee. “I believe in the management of IFTC. This time Global has touched the documentaries, other wise there are no supporters other than government.” said Pankaj Parashar. “I have come all the way from UK to support Sandeep for his venture we need promoters and people with innovative ideas” said Terry Parrish.

The festival is supported by Asian Academy of Film and TV, Asian School of Media Studies, Asian Business School, AAFT School of Graphics and Animation, International Film And Television Research Centre, Radio Noida 107.4FM.and others.

The renowned Asian Media Personality Sandeep Marwah, the President of Marwah Studios has been honored at 33rd Cairo International Film Festival and has been introduced to the World Cinema and its fraternity as the producer of largest number of short films in the World and President of one of the most successful film schools of the World.

Established since 1976, the Cairo International Film Festival is classified as a category “A” festival as recognized by the FIAPF (International Federation of Film Producer’s Associations) and is undoubtedly the oldest and most important festival in the Middle East and has been an inspiration to several other budding festivals.

This year the CIFF has acknowledged its honored tradition and welcome the new generation of brilliant filmmakers from India by honoring Indian Cinema. The festival is from 10th to 20th November in Cairo and has been attended , by the whos who of cinema World including Salma Hayek, Samuel L. Jackson, Lucy Liu and Tom Berenger, who is also a member on the international jury.

"I am impressed by the wonderful gesture extended by the 33rd International Film Festival by giving so much space to Indian Cinema this time" said Sandeep Marwah while talking to the International press at Cairo. " I am sure this all will result into better relations between two countries and more business time to come." Marwah added.

The Director in the Govt. of India’s Film Festivals Directorate
S M Khan said that documentary film makers deserve all possible help and support in their work. He was formally releasing the first poster of the Global Festival of Documentary Films being organized by Marwah Films & Video Studio from the 20th to 22nd November 2009. Giving details of this event Sandeep Marwah remarked that documentaries play a vital role in educating and informing the masses for making the society healthy, happy and balanced one. In his address S M Khan mentioned that a special section for the short and documentary films has been earmarked in the film festivals being organized by his directorate and many other festivals

He invited the students of Asian Academy of Film & Television, Asian School of Media Studies and Asian Business School to work as volunteers in the forth coming International Film Festival to be held in Goa. He also informed that the Films Division of Govt. of India will be holding their next Festival of Documentary Films in the month of February next year. The life membership of International Film & Television Club was given away to S M Khan on this occasion.

The Ambassador of Taiwan His Excellency Mr. Wenchyi Ong said that beside its unifying force a good film can easily strike a chord in the viewer. He was formally inaugurating the festival of films from Taiwan at Asian Academy of Film & Television. Family value, respect for the elderly, belief in democracy and diversity, working as a team and attaching importance to spiritual life are the dominant commonalities between the people of Taiwan and India he added. In his introductory remarks Prof. Sandeep Marwah said that watching films from Taiwan would indeed be a refreshing experience for the students. The Ambassador disclosed that he has invited the well known Taiwanese Director Ang Lee to make his next film in India and hoped that collaboration with Indian film producers will lead to making great films to tell the world remarkable stories of both India and Taiwan. The Ambassador of Taiwan accepted the life membership of International Film & Television Club on this occasion. Later he spoke to Noida people through Radio Noida 107.4 FM.

A thirty day schedule of Adeep Tandon venture ‘Naazuk Saa Modd’ has begun today at Marwah Studios. A love triangle suspense thriller is a directed by Addeep Tandon is a well known cinematographer for number of prestigious projects like Saaransh, Thikana Censor, Grihpravesh etc. The film is being produced by Swapan Dey and

Co-produced by Vikas Garg in association with Marwah Studios, Noida. Raghav Marwah is the executive producer of this feature film.
The film is written by Esmayeel Shroff a well known Director who has scripted this film for the first time for an outside director. Some of his well known film are Bulandi, Agar, Thodi Se Bewafai, Tarkieb, Majdhar, God and Gun, Ahista Ahista, Jhutha Such, Dil Akhir Dil Hai and Police Public etc. The film will be shot in Delhi and Noida from start to finish.

The music for the film has been given Lalit Sen of (Dhoop, Monsoon, Heera Pheri fame), Lyrics by Nida Fazli of (Sarfrosh, Razia Sultan, Sur fame), Editor Rajeev Gupta, Audiographer S.K. Srivastava, Art Director by the National Award Winner Shyam Bhutkar, Choregraphy by Bhushan Lakhandari of (Devdas, Sawariya, Hum Apke Hain Koun fame), Singers Mohd. Salamat, Javed Ali, Vinod Rathod and Vaishali and Media Coordination by Sunil Prashar are associated with this venture.

“I am going to share my 30 year long experience in the industry with my audience through this film” said Adeep Tandon. Sandeep Marwah of Marwah Studios is going to lend valuable support to us.
“I have been writing and directing my film, but this is for the first time that I have scripted a feature film for another director” said Esmayeel Shroff.

An exhibition of colorful paintings by Neema lal was jointly inaugurated by Jaganath, the former Secretary of Home Affairs, Government of Uttar Pradesh and Vikas Garg renowned business man and the film producer at Marwah Studios, Film City, Noida.

“Paintings are like poetry which you have to write with colors and it expresses all your emotions on canvas,” said Jaganath while releasing the brochure. Neema Lal has worked with Artists from Denmark for a period of five years before joining Treveni Kala Sangam. "I extend my heartiest congratulation to Neema for opting Marwah Studios for her solo show within Media students, she is very expressive in her work” said Vikas Garg.

“My journey from cotemporary to abstract helped me to make layers in paintings which help to have perspective effects, but this is not sufficient I would like to increase the number of layers to give more 3D effects.” Said Neema Lal while explaining her paintings to the students of Asian Academy of Film and Television (AAFT) “I want to incorporate in my paintings new trends and recent techniques of other countries along which my own technique to give a much broader and wider look to my creations. The world should know that new chapter has been added in the field of art.” added Neema Lal.

The atmosphere was charged with emotion and excitement as the black caps were flung in the air amongst cheers at the Convocation at Asian School of Media Studies, one of the most prestigious and popular media colleges of the country. The students of Graduate and Masters studies of ASMS had gathered at the convocation to receive their Diplomas in their chosen stream of specialization. The Diplomas were awarded to the students from the Department of Cinema, Electronic Media, Mass Media and Multimedia.

In his Convocation address given in his signatory poetic manner Prof. Sandeep Marwah, Director ASMS, said “No success can be achieved without a spirit of sacrifice. Life teaches you at every step and it is for you to learn from it and boldly face all kinds of circumstances and consequences”. The packed house of students was charged with emotions at these words. There was a sense of loss at leaving the college they had been so proud of.

“We at ASMS give an all-round training and education to our students to secure their future. This includes ethical and professional practices coupled with good conduct befitting good citizens” said Suman Bajaj Kalra, Dean ASMS. In renowned film and TV actress Joyoshree Arora’s words “Students must first be good human beings to be good professionals to reach the top.” Added Kalyan Sarkar, Dean AAFT, “the seat at the top will always beckon you if you live by this norm”

“You can win the world with emotions and good communication” was the valuable advice given by Latika Sahni, Dean, Asian Business School. Mr. R.K. Singh, former Engineer in Chief of Doordarshan advised “Never forget your alma mater, however big you may grow”

Others who spoke on the occasion were Rahul Sehgal, Sudesh Sharma, Kavita Koli and Om Prakash, the respective Department Heads. The convocation ceremony ended with mirth and joy and a series of photographs capturing the last fleeting moments of this emotional gathering

Five days festival of Egyptian Films inaugurated by H.E. Mohamed Higazy, the Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in India at Asian Academy of Film And Television at Noida Film City. Some of the best films including Elmaseer-The Destiny by Youssef Chahine , Malek Wa Ketaba-Heads And Tails Directed by Kamla Abu Zekry,Hassan & Morcos directed by Rami Imran etc are going to be part of the festival.

The excitement in the campus was enormous as it was also the first day of 65th batch of AAFT. The students enrolled from all over India and abroad in this batch were busy reading large banners and posters about Egyptian films, all over campus.

“We are keen in developing very cordial relations with India through films” said HE Mohamed Higazy while inaugurating the festival. “We want the two countries to be like brothers and we are ready for cultural exchange and education exchange programs” he added talking to the media students at Marwah Studios.

“The International Film and Television Club of AAFT has been conducting many festivals in India and now this festival has added another feather in the cap of IFTC” said Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios. “Films are the Ambassadors of culture of any country, today it is the amalgamation of two oldest civilizations of the World through films,” Marwah added.

Others who spoke on the occasion were Sami M. Salem the minister counsellor, Dina El Sehy the Counsellor of the Embassy of Arab Republic of Egypt. Later Sandeep Marwah honoured H.E. Mohamed Higazy with the life membership of International Film and Television Club.

The renowned asian media personality, president of Marwah Studios Sandeep Marwah and well known international Indian star Anil Kapoor were recently invited by H.E. Dr Mohamed Higazy, the Ambassador of Arab Republic of Egypt in India to discuss the cultural exchange between two oldest civilizations of Earth.

“We are keen in developing and promoting cultures of India and Egypt where country men of both the countries can relate to each other comfortably” said H.E. Dr. Mohamed Higazy. “We want to open the doors of our country for Indian Art and Culture too.” He added.

“Films are the best Ambassador of culture of the country” said Sandeep Marwah the founder of film city and Director of AAFT. “Exchange of films, film festivals, and film personalities can bring in ample change in thinking and relation between two countries” added Marwah.

“I would love to be there at Egypt to represent my country India, and can do anything to built the relations between these two countries” said Anil Kapoor, who has become well known star internationally after the release of feature film Slum dog Millionaire which has bagged many awards including Oscars.

Sam Salem, the minister Counselor and Ms Dina el Sehy the counselor of Egyptian Embassy were also present there in the meeting.
