Risky bruv, like I said, it’s just too early to place a blind trust upon a freshly appointed official with the given political and economical situations in the country.

It’s ok if he’s acknowledging the ill deeds committed against the Sikh community in 1984, but what does that prove ?! Is he going to do something about it ? Or is he just trying to gain support by trying to comfort the ones who fell victim to this horrendous crime and are still suffering ? Taking this a bit more further, is he the first politician to acknowledge this in public ? NO! There have been others, one example: Swamy Subramaniam from Tamil Nadu.Check out his lectures on the subject over the web, and you’ll know.

Everybody for themselves! - Different people would have different views on this, and the way I see it is that probably people just got bored and tired of seeing the same Congress for so long, and this time probably they just wanted to see a new, different and a ‘Non-Congress’ face and Mr. Modi filled the spot.I am neither for him, nor against him, neutral.I’m a mere spectator in a wait & watch mode and hold nothing personal against him. It’s only been a few months and there’s a lot to come, so let’s see how he does.Right now it is just the beginning, and I believe in long term goals than forming early opinions just in the heat of the moment where most people just hit off out loud.To know somebody’s true intention of doing something is to go by what he DOES, not by what he SAYS, and for that one has to wait and observe.

I don't think so..

What do you mean by "I don't think so" ? If you plan to put forth your disagreement directly, then I also expect you to support your reasons by stating your opinions on the topic/subject in hand as to what actions do you think would/should he be taking on it.What reinforces your believe that brings you to disagree with what has been expressed by me ?

Just look at india's economy, defence sector etc.. everything is down.. he is trying hard to bring it up.. he knows what to talk and when to talk..as a result of which china took his troops back from India's border.

#1 - What do you mean by saying the defence sector is 'down' ?

#2 - And what exactly is being done to lift up the economy ? What has he strategized as something new or out of the box apart from the stuff he's pulling off which the Congress left where it was and taking it from there ?

Talking of China, forget the Chinese troops.China has already illegally taken over lands on the Indian territory, that's a bigger issue !

People are throwing waste on road and PM is cleaning that..he always tell people to live together like one..

The PM sweeping the roads and cleaning off the waste spread by people ?! And what message does it carry ? Do you think by watching the PM do this will make people ashamed of themselves and would make them realize their duties as responsible citizens ? A big NO! For this we need our leaders to teach people to first start respecting each other and make them realize that true patriotism doesn't mean saying 'Jai Hind' out loud, nor does it mean just simply saying "I love my land/soil".True patriotism first starts with your feelings towards the people of your own country, people need to learn to respect one another and if this paradigm shift takes place then some of the most common problems like cleanliness would go away by itself.Think about it!

In his speech he always focus for people of India not for a Religion or single state.. but its people who always ready to drag Religion between everything..

Ok tell me one thing very honestly.Have you read and understood the topic rightly ?
Now where the did religion come from into this topic ? Read the topic's heading, watch the linked videos in it and understand what this whole topic is about!

I honestly don't understand the purpose of you bringing religion into this discussion. This topic says "Why Sikhs are against PM Modi?".This has nothing to do with religion, nor are the Sikhs 'against' him for your very kind information.I think the intention of the topic is to let people here discuss why isn't Modi supported so much by the Sikhs whilst he acknowledges and condemns the misdeeds committed against the Sikhs in 1984.Now this is where I brought my point that it seems more like an emotional game and it is just too early to blindly trust because he is still new in the picture and previously many politicians have done similar things like publicly acknowledging it and talking of punishing the culprits but nothing on all real and practical grounds has actually taken place, so it is pretty natural that the community would now want to first test the person before concluding anything.

P.S - By the way, just to add there are many Sikh supporters for Mr. Modi in India.

Atleast he is better than our previous PM Manmohan singh who was useless as a PM. Manmohan Singh was a good finance minister but not PM.

And how do you know he is better than the previous PM? Do you have any statistical figures on this to compare the both or performance indicators of any kind ? How long has it even been since his appointment ? Just a few months.Wait for another 6-12 months, then probably would be a better time for us to discuss on who was better than whom.Right now I would not prefer to go on foolishly debating about it.

What Ex-PM Manmohan Singh did, I don't think anybody else could have done. He's set a good base for the country upon which now PM Modi has a platform to build upon.

I wanted you to know this as i live 12 years in gujarat of which he was the CM for 14 years and i saw the growth of gujarat.
And I am sure he will not the disappoint People of India. Have faith with him.

Well I wouldn't mind hearing from you about all the great things that have taken place in Gujarat, according to you.Kindly enlighten us if we're missing something here.

One kind recommendation: your inputs on the subject went off the topic and had nothing in regard to it.You can make a separate topic where you can praise about the new PM as much as you want.Just a suggestion though.

These are all emotional games. He's giving people what they want to hear, simple.
In the end it is the intention that counts and it's just too early to trust at the moment.Give it some time and let's see what results he brings about.

If I'm not wrong, then this is a Gur-ta-gaddi divas ?

The story above is such a great example of one's faith in the Guru.Baba Makhan Shah Lubana Ji had an utter faith in Guru Sahib and so he was guided and protected by him.

Gup Shup / Re: Love marriage v/s arranged marriage

I'm ok with both actually, lol.

Je ta love marriage hoyi fer ta zaahir aa ke kurri bot hi sohni hougi (meri choice bali ghaint aa) :loll:
Aur je arranged honi hove fer ta mainu pata hi aa ke ghar deya ne sohni hi labb ke viyoni :hehe:

Jokes apart, whether arranged or love, you'll know it that he/she is the one when you meet him/her.
It's all destiny.

Cheers !

Only few people can do that.
