ya I agree with Sarab.. Babaji di blessings layee.. But its good post to put some light over Sikh traditions that How Sikhs name new born baby.. Shortly after birth, Baby is presented to Guru Granth Sahibji for blessings and name is picked up from HUKAM, which is a random verse from the Guru Granth and is considered the Guru's divine command. The first Gurmukhi letter of the verse, determines the first letter of the name.
And Second method is A HUKUM is selected every morning at the Golden Temple or "Gurdwara Harmandir", in Amritsar India, and can be consulted online the day of a baby’s birth, N New baby could be named according to that.

Ang 609 • Guru Arjan Dev ji • Raag Sorath
sorath mehlaa 5.

Sorat’h, Fifth Mehl:
Children, spouses, men and women in one’s household, are all bound by Maya. At the very last moment, none of them shall stand by you; their love is totally false. ||1|| O man, why do you pamper your body so? It shall disperse like a cloud of smoke; vibrate upon the One, the Beloved Lord. ||Pause|| There are three ways in which the body can be consumed – it can be thrown into water, given to the dogs, or cremated to ashes. He considers himself to be immortal; he sits in his home, and forgets the Lord, the Cause of causes. ||2|| In various ways, the Lord has fashioned the beads, and strung them on a slender thread. The thread shall break, O wretched man, and then, you shall repent and regret. ||3|| He created you, and after creating you, He adorned you – meditate on Him day and night. God has showered His Mercy upon servant Nanak; I hold tight to the Support of the True Guru. ||4||4||

Yeah, i have experienced this too. But i dont have any ego problem with my name, Like some people pronounce very nice, So its cool. But Sometimes I find people really struggling in pronunciation of my name , they ask me, if they have pronounced it right or worng, and When i say no its wrong then they apologizes for that so many times, and i used to feel bad abt it, So What i did , I told them to Call me "KAUR" aa there is no other KAUR at my work place. They asked me about its meaning and i said this means "Princess". They really liked it and They love to call me KAUR (Princess) : So All good ji..

okji.. my first response was just review of one of the articles , that was not my personal opinion.
OK lets define LOVE first. In my opinion, Love is directly proportional to Time period of your relationship.
Pyar ik ajehi sucha teh ucha emotion aa, jo idda hi nai ho janda. ih oh feeling aa jo ik insaan di Rabb naal hai teh ik Sikh di Guruji naal aa. Jado Guruji ne kiha Singh sajo teh Dastaar banno tah os layee Sikh will do anything like our sikhs r still fighting in US Army for that. Jado babaji ne kiha naam japo teh kirat karo teh assi babaji nu pyar karde aa, then we will do anything to follow the path shown by Guruji, Chahe sanu roti mile ne mile, saun nu mile na mile.
So Love happens When u develop care, affection and respect and devotion for other person.
Pyar oh hai jo apne Mom teh dad Vich aa. Jado ik munda teh kudi ik duje nu milde ne gal karde ne,teh fer kehnde ne.. "LOVE U, LOVE U " that is not love. that is just likeness u develop for other person par love oddo hunda When u live together, go thru all the up and down of life together and support each other. that is Love.
So Whhen u say "I Love U" that is not love and When u feel it and really mean it then U need not to say it, Your Whole Body Language screams about it.
Therefore, When for one person , U just break the bubble of "I", "EGO" or "ATTITUDE" and fully devoted for him or her That is called LOVE. Got it my friends??.. 8-> 8-> :pagel:

@ Noxious - One of mine friend is undergoing Acupuncture therapy . n Its very common with Acupressure.. the only difference is that they use needles to press those energy points in body. n She is really getting benefited with this.

Sikh celebrates Diwali As BANDI CHHORR DIWAS. Tiger style has already mentioned about it. So, Guru HarGobind Sahibji arrived at Amritsar on the Diwali day and the "Golden Temple" was lit with hundreds of lamps to celebrate his return. Same Even at present, Sikh people celebrate Diwali the same way, by lighting The Golden Temple, Amritsar.
