 Shabads (religious sayings of different number of verses and their count in Guru Granth Sahib is as follows:
   2 verses - (dupadas), 608
   3 verses - (tripade), 73
   4 verses - (chaupadas), 1,255
   5 verses - (panchpadas), 80
   6 verses - (chhepedas), 11 verses
   8 verses - (Ashtpadian), 311
   16 verses - (sohilas), 62

Vars
means a long poem in which the praises of a hero are sung. The religious Vars included in Guru Granth Sahib contain a slok, a small verse complete in itself which is mostly subjective, before each pauri in order to clarify the idea contain in the pauri.

Chand (Punjabi: ਛੰਦ) is a word used to refers to a metre of composition used extensively in the Dasam Granth, the second most important holy composition of the Sikhs. There are many types of metre used in the Dasam Granth. The variation is within each line and the line structure may not be governed by the particular chand; it may just influence the way each line needs to be read rather than how each verse.
And this Chand word in poetry has been named after CHAND or CHANDA, a goldsmith by profession, was one of the poets and scholars who enjoyed patronage of Guru Gobind Singh.

Salok
This is normally a final verse or a verse found at the beginning of a Bani composition.

There are total   21 Vars, 471 Pauris and  994 Sloks in Guru Granth Sahibji..

dhāḍhī tisno ākhīe je khasame dharai piār, dar khaṛsevā karai gur sabadī vīchār.

He is called ‘dhadi’ who has love for his Master; whostands by the door waiting to serve while thinking onthe Word.


In everyday language the basic meaning of “dhadi” is one who singssomeone’s praises whilst playing dhadd. According to the Mahankosh,2 itis, “From ḍhāḍhī: one who sings the ballads of warriors while playingḍhaḍḍ (ḍhaḍḍh).

Even this was so poplar among common people. teh Guru Arjan dev ji ne TheFifth Guru, Arjan Dev, at the time of the Adi Granth’s compilation afterhe collated all the bāṇī [1604], set nine of these to be sung to the airs ofpreviously composed vars of old warriors.

I don't favor any kind of quota system in education system.. If there is Minority quota then there is business quota too.. which is again very pathetic situation in our Indian education system..

1. First of all, Every good student should have right to get higher education irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
2. next, this discourages good students and quality of education is suffered.
3. Nalle reserved category wale students just learnt o get depended on reservation not for hard work.
4. baki at present we have more than 50% government jobs occupied by reserved category.. hun dasso reservation general category nu chahidi hai ke minority nu.. ih reservation system oddo baniya c jado constitution baniya c means  63 years pehla.. par hun conditions change ne..

Even Politicians v use karde ne es hathiyar nu votes layee.. ke assi hor jyada reservation seats wadhawange.. so es tarah divide karde ne indian society nu caste teh religin de basis teh.. Even mein tah General category waliyanu minority da certificate bna ke MBBs vich admission lene hoye v vekhiya hai.. So hun socho ki use aa es resevation system da..
