main kuj read kardi c te othe eh question pop up hoyea ki asi punjabi lok apne nianea de na gorea wale kio rakhna chonde a? ohna ne example dita c ki asi keh dinde a ki gorea nu sada na bolna nai onda ta karke asi khende call me "Mike" instead of Malkit or something....well how come gore india ja ke ni khende ki menu Bill di jaga Baljinder kaho kio ki you brown people cant pronounce it right :happy:

Why do us punjabis feel the need to give their kids white nicknames?

Naam change karan naal sade pichokad nu ni badal sakde apa indian hi rehna eh gal samjhoni peni aa ah generation nu.

nope! dont have anything against...however i also don't see the need for one to be changing their name just because someone cant pronounce it right :happy: maybe they should learn something new for the day :happy:

In that case, they shouldn't get all offended if people mispronounce their name.

well it depends upon you

:

my name is pretty easy to pronounce and its funny how people still mispronounce it at times because its pronounce just as its spelled ...however it barely takes 2-3 tries to get it corrected and i dont mind correcting others if its mispronounced :happy:

and about the nicknames there are indian nicknames too :happy: anyways :D no hard feelings :D but if i can pronounce a white persons name right the least he/she can do is pronounce mine the way its pronounced :)
