Firstly I wasn’t talking about the definition of a ‘Gursikh’.

Now with reading your qoutation, you've caused me ask you a few questions(although this diverts away from the original subject now), I hope that you'd first think a while about it with a calm and a cool mind and then come back with a sensible answer.

Here are the questions.

Q.1 - Can you differentiate between a Sikh, Singh and a Khalsa ?

Q.2 - Is Nitnem subject only to the ones who are a part of the 'Sikh Community' ? Has it anywhere been mentioned by our Gurus that a Hindu or a Muslim cannot do Nitnem or Jaap ?

Q.3 - If I do not keep Kes(due to whatever the reason), then what am I ?
- A Hindu ? (Neither I bow before Idols nor do I worship Dieties)
- A Human ? (That’s what we all are)
- An Atheist or a Non-Believer in Sikhism ? (There should be a good enough reason for opting this one)

Q.4 – Why were we(Sikhs) told by Dasam Patshahi to keep Kes as a latter form of being a Sikh?

A1. All are same .. SIKH , KHALSA and Singh/ Kaur all are same ...


A2. Nitnem is must for a sikh. However anybody can do it and follow the bani .. but for being a sikh you must do nitnem.


A3 You are not a sikh .  as clear as that .  but who actually are you that you should sit and think.


A4 We are not allowed to question our guru for why .. 
Guru da hukam hi ho gya fe koi why vegreh da question hi nhi reh gya ..
