Hanji.... So brief introduction of topic..

in this topic, we will ask dilemma questions which are ethically and morally hard to answer.. and these questions don't have one correct answer. and each question should be able to provoke debate, conversation and thought process..

es topic vich appa idda de swaal pushne ne jehna de jawaab thode aukhe hune ne dene jado atmik teh duniyawi tor teh sochde aa....ihna sawala da koyee ik sahi jawab nai aa.. idda de swaal jo tuhanu sochan layee majboor karde ne..

so first question is

Imagine you are placed in a room with Osama Bin Laden when he is only 3 years old. You have a gun, know exactly what he does during 9/11 or etc and will not be charged in any way if you choose to kill him, but at the time he is just an innocent baby, would you kill him?

Tusi idda di situation imagine karni aa ke tusi Osama bin LAden naal ik room vich band ho jado oh sirf 3 saal da c. teh tuhade kol hathiyar aa, teh tuhanu bhavikh de 9/11 teh hor di ghatnawa bare sab pata hai. teh tuhannu koyee saza nai howegi je tusi ohnu kill kar dine ho. par oh sirf ik massom ja bacha hai os time, ki tusi ohnu jaano maar dena c?

Hmm that is a tough one. I would save the lives of so many people if I do so. Not only that who knows maybe Al-Queda would never been made. But having to kill a child in itself is such a hard thing. I would be scarred for life if I did so. I'm not even sure if I would even be able to pull the trigger. I'd probably pass out or something.
Weighing all the lives I can save against the life of a future terrorist mastermind.

I would close my eyes and shoot him. Probably end up killing myself afterwards though.

Very Impressive response.. like we had this discussion at work place but no one came up this thing that "Probably end up killing myself afterwards though." Great thinking.. This hardest thing to do.. sacrificing own life for others..
Well, even i didn't think this way.. my response was that i would adopt the kid and will bring up in civilized way so that he would never end up in those criminal acts...

agree with kg us bache nu marna hi ik rasta nai. Farz kro kise bache nu koi gambhir bimari e te thonu pta k usdi umar vadhan nal us di bimari vadh jayegi fir v tuc doc nu us nu maran lai nai usda ilaj karan lai khoge. Oh I thought the only option was to kill him or to let him be a terrorist. Since you said you already know he's going be responsible for 9/11 so I assumed that changing him wasn't an option or anything. In that class I would have him taken care of by the govt. Watch over him 24/7 make sure he doesn't go anywhere..somewhat like house arrest.

I would probably kidnap him and take him. His upbringing will be like mine, Hindu/Sikh. He won't know what al-queda is. There would be no hatred for Americans and 9/11 won't happen.

But if we alter that part of the world...what else may change? Maybe the US will never be scared of anyone and will still be out there stealing stuff from other countries like the |British.

I think the only two choices should be kill him or let him be a terrorist. The question has too many open loops. There are so many ways to take it..if you include the drastic changes possible in history theres a effect for every action. Even just the two options of killing him or not.

Kasab's parents didnt know wat thier son' d been doing.... and none of his siblings had such record.
So its not only parenting..there are other factors as well...so i wont agree to the adopting solution

I wont hold anybody's parents responsible for what they do..c
imagine..Osama 's mother saying...'.take him away..coz am gonna make him terrorist...' i mean nobody can ever think of...
so how can u say that if he would 've grown up in ur supervison ..he would have been a good person

Nice.. u have explained the whole situation with all of its pros n cons.. but what if u know that u cant change the future and 9/11 would definitely happen then i think NYPunjabi's answer has more weightage.. :wait:
