Per us vargi na labhi koi,
Saari umar chahunde rahe jis nu,
Oh na kade sadi hoyi.

...Karda haan pyaar kinna,
Us nu es di samaj na koi,
Us de piche lag lag ke,
sadi jind vanjaran hoyi.

Sathon ja ke durr pata ni,
Oh kihna kol ja khaloyi,
Us di na sun ke ik vaar,
mere dil di dhadkan moyi.

Rabb ton puchde an dasde sanu,
Kehri galti bhari sathon hoyi,
Hun jawaab dita hai rabb ne,
Mathon ishk karan di galti hoyi.
