ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਤਾਰ 'ਤੇ ਰਾਗ ਮਾਲਕੌਂਸ ਵਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਹੱਥਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਦੀਵੇ ਬਾਲ ਤੂਫਾਨਾਂ 'ਚ ਤੁਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਕੂਲ 'ਚ ਪੇਰ ਡੁਬੋ ਕੇ ਕਵਿਤਾ ਲਿਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਨੇਕ ਬ੍ਹਹਿਮੰਡਾਂ 'ਚ ਇਕੋ ਵੇਲੇ ਭ੍ਮਣ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਅਦਨ ਬਾਗ 'ਚ ਸੇਬ ਤੋੜ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਪਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਗਰੀ 'ਚ ਬੀਨ ਵਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਬਲਦੇ ਸਿਵਿਆਂ 'ਚ ਬਾਪ ਦਾ ਚਿਹਰਾ ਲੱਭ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਉਦਾਸ ਬਿਰਧ ਮਾਂ ਦੇ ਨੈਣਾਂ 'ਚੋਂ ਅਤਿ੍ਪਤ ਸੁਪਨੇ ਦੇਖ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਹਨੇਰਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਦਲ 'ਤੇ ਬਿਨ ਬਾਤੀ ਦੀਵਾ ਬਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲਣੇ 'ਚ ਜੁਗਨੂੰ ਨੂੰ ਸੱਦਾ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਰ 'ਤੇ ਕੱਫਨ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਸ਼ਗਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਜ਼ਾਦੀ,ਮੁਹੱਬਤ ਤੇ ਮੌਤ ਨੂੰ ਇਕੋ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਕੋ ਥੜੇ 'ਤੇ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਮਸਤਕ ਵਿਚ ਸੂਰਜ ਬਾਲ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਮੋਹ,ਤਿਆਗ,ਵੈਰਾਗ ਤੇ ਅਨੁਰਾਗ ਦੇ ਚਾਰੋਂ ਸੁਰ ਵੀਣਾ 'ਤੇ ਇਕੋ ਵੇਲੇ ਛੋਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੱਤੇ ਸਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਫੇਰੇ ਲੈ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਆਪਣੇ ਸਿਵੇ 'ਚੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੀ ਫੁੱਲ ਚੁੱਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਪਰਲੋਕ ਦੀ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਪਰਤਿਆ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੋਈ ਦਸਮ ਦੁਆਰ ਤੇ ਖੜਾ ਆਪਣੈ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਚਾਣ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ
ਜਾ ਚੰਦਰਿਆ
ਜੇ ਅਜੇ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਸਮਝੇਂ ਤਾਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਰੱਬ ਰਾਖਾ"

You see, GOD is just a word. The word god could not be god itself just like the word water is not water itself. From our very childhood we have been conditioned with a lot of beliefs. God is one of the words with with which a lot of ideas have been conditioned. We tend to be predisposed to think from these conditioning as the points of reference. God is this/ god is that... What we call as god is nothing but the idea that we hold in mind. God ( idea) will differ for a person of different religious/cultural background.

Even to say that god does not discriminate is to identify with our past-conditioning - what we have been taught.

As a second thought, If you look around in the world around you will see that there is discrimination when you see good people suffering and the evil ones enjoying comfort. Of course one can still justify in-discrimination of god by saying that there are unapparent reasons ( like past life etc) but such claims themselves stand on unjustifiable grounds.

Life , for me, is an experiment , an unfolding, and I cannot just believe something just because I have been taught so from my childhood as a result of which my perspective has narrowed itself to seeing things only that way.

So, would you say, you are an atheist?

Both atheist and theists are caught in their own beliefs. One accepts a certain concept and the other denies the same. As I said , each person has his own unique concept of god. God , for us, could be - a grumpy old man sitting over heaven and hell, an omniscient intelligence, omnipresent energy.... Whatever you believe in, you are caught in the machination of your own mind.  Mind stands as the very barrier between you and that which IS. Whether you give the power to your mind in the name of god or against it , both ways you  are identified with your  thoughts and concepts..

I am neither thiest nor athiest. They are just the two side of the same coin. I prefer to keep myself open to all possibilities and not to identify with any particular belief/belief-system/ideology because no matter how sacred it has been claimed to be , its no more than a subjective structure of your mind .
