kyun auandi a meinu yaad teri,
saanu ik vaari aanke hazoor dassja….
ni tu torh sabh kasmaa te torh sabh vaade,
hun kehri galon hogi majboor dassja….
mitti vich roll sabh saadiyaan wafavaan,
kihde khawabaan di tu bangayi a hoor dassja….
kade chalde si saah tere saadeyaan hi saahan naal,
hun sade kolon hogi kaahton door dassja….
palaan ch ujaarh gayi tu sadraan de mehal saade,
kyun kitta vishvas choro-choor dassja,
kyun mathe utte laayi saade tohmat bewafaayi di,
aan ik vaari ,jagg, da kasoor dassja….
