Koi Bole Ram Ram

koi bole raam raam koi khudhaae
Some call the Lord 'Ram, Ram', and some 'Khuda'.

koi saevai guseiann koi allaah.
Some serve Him as 'Gusain', others as 'Allah'.

kaaran karan kareem, kirapaa dhhaar rehim.
He is the Cause of causes and Generous, He showers His Grace and Mercy upon us.

koi naavai theerathh koi haj jaae,
Some pilgrims bathe at sacred shrines, others go on Hajj to Mecca,

koi karai poojaa koi sir nivaae.
Some do devotional worship, whilst others bow their heads in prayer.

koi parrai baedh koi kathaebl,
Some read the Vedas, and some the Koran.

koi oudtai neel koi supaedh.
Some wear blue robes, and some wear white.

koi kehai thurak koi kehai hindu,
Some call themselves Muslim, and some call themselves Hindu,

koi baashhai bhisath koi surgindu.
Some yearn for paradise, and others long for heaven.

kahu naanak jin hukam pashhaathaa, prabh saahib kaa tinn bhaedh jaathaa.
Says Nanak, one who realizes the Hukam of God's Will, knows the secrets of his Lord Master.

ਕੋਈ ਨਾਵੈ ਤੀਰਥਿ ਕੋਈ ਹਜ ਜਾਇ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਕਰੈ ਪੂਜਾ ਕੋਈ ਸਿਰੁ ਨਿਵਾਇ ॥

 
ਕੋਈ ਪੜੈ ਬੇਦ ਕੋਈ ਕਤੇਬ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਓਢੈ ਨੀਲ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਪੇਦ ॥

 
ਕੋਈ ਕਹੈ ਤੁਰਕੁ ਕੋਈ ਕਹੈ ਹਿੰਦੂ ॥
ਕੋਈ ਬਾਛੈ ਭਿਸਤੁ ਕੋਈ ਸੁਰਗਿੰਦੂ ॥

 
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥
