What ski fields are you closer to exactly?
Closest is Awakino, then Snow Park/Snow Farm. Remarkables next and then cardrona. All are above 100 km or more away.

I've only been to coronet peak and the remarkables in the south island before, lake taupo and ruapehu in the north. Decided to go cordrona this time and man, we had a blast. It was so much better
Same went there for the first time this winter break. It was great! Will definitely go there next time too.

Cordrona is an amazing place to snowboard and ski. Much better than the remarkables :love: :love: :love: but a bit more expensive. I miss it bad :cry:
