There are heaps more problems in Punjab. Drugs are not the only one, We using all that chemicals to increase production of food which resulting in cancer and other diseases. Lack of opportunities resulted in youth running out of country for there future. There is no growth in Industry at all.
Last time I been there, there is no pure water to drink anymore.

Khalas means pure, and a place where all the pure people are living is khalistan.
Creating a different country (Khalistan) will mean that your just going to be in dictatorship which is itself a self explanatory term.
Running one country on its own is just not visible , boycotting from other states ( country as a whole ) is like setting up a house in a dessert.
Where to get the resources ? ( water , electricity and other services )
Demanding a state is easy but if you think about it how would you run it , it seems quiet complicated.

Most of the people living abroad example : canada , USA , UK , Aus , NZ wants to make it ! Why ? you guys don't even live in India, but people living in India will suffer. So I'd say not all demand for separate country, lots of my Sikh mates call it all waste of time and money

but whatever I've heard and read according to that if they really wanted to kill a CM should have done as an individual not killing innocent people thats my thinking or for me its similar to what muslims called Jihad. No offense to anyone am not against anyone in particular .
Shiv Sena = Dirty group always up for creating riots . Thats what they did in Gujrat too between Hindu's and Muslim and something on Ayodhya ground too
