Nikon has revealed a new model, named Nikon D7000 which is outfitted with low-light ability, a new 16.2-megapixel CMOS sensor, and Nikon’s new EXPEED 2 image processing system for enhanced performance. The speed of camera is 50-millisecond shutter response will be managed by EXPEED 2 to blazing AF speed and rapid six fps burst speed for up to 100 images.


Nikon D7000 comes with the new 39-point AF system and a new 2,016-pixel RGB 3D Matrix Metering System. This system delivers amazing image quality in various conditions. Full 1080p HD movie capability is provided by the camera with full time auto focus. The camera body of camera is sealed with Magnesium-alloy top and rear covers and a 150,000 cycle-rated shutter system. The compact design of Nikon D7000 is lightweight and the camera is dust and moisture sealed.

Nikon D7000 has a 23.1 x 15.4 mm CMOS sensor in a Nikon DX format (1.5x FOV crop) which allows 16.2 million effective pixels with a 14-bit A/D converter.

The price of the camera is different in different countries like in US is $1199, UK is £1099, EU is €1189, Price (with 18-105mm VR Lens) US is $1499, UK is £1299.99 and EU is €1399.

That's not even true! They're expensive over here as well.

My friend told me u can import anything to NZ thers no restriction but we have!! we cannot import a R33 with RB20DET it has to be a RB25DET or GTR RB26DETT engine ones.. plus no compliance over there
