I think this statement is kinda similar to this:  "No pain no gain". Life is to live not to prepare for or worry about the life after death. There , time will come where you will do some serious mistakes, that will cause extreme pain,regrets,etc ,But if you don't do mistake then how would you learn? you will fall and stand back, again fall and stand back on your feet.
