« on: May 08, 2014, 02:13:41 PM »Shaikh Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Qalandar Panipati (1209-1324 CE or 606 AH, born at Panipat, Haryana) was a Sufi saint of the Chishtī Order who lived in India. His dargah (mausoleum) in the town of Panipat is a place of pilgrimage.
His real name was Shaykh Sharfuddin but he is famous by the title Bu Ali Shah. His father, Shaykh Fakhar Uddin was a great scholar and saint of his time. He completed his studies at an early age and subsequently taught near the Qutub Minar in Delhi for 20 years. He published a collection of Persian poetry by the name of " Diwan Hazrat Sharafuddeen Bu Ali Qalandar" which was later translated by Khawaja Shahudin in Punjabi. It's a great Sufi work in Persian language.

Agar hai shaunk milne ka to har dam lau lagata ja
jala kar khudnumaai ko, bhasam tann par lagaata ja.
pakad kar ishq ki jhaadu, safaa kar hijra-e-dil ko..
dui ki dhool ko le kar, musalleh par udaata ja.
musalleh chod, tasbeeh tod, kitaabe daal paani mein..
pakad tu dast Murshid ka, ghulam unka kahaata ja.
na mar bhukha, na rakh roze, na ja masjid, na kar sajda..
waju ka tod de kooza, sharaab-e-shauq peeta ja.
hamesha kha, hamesha pee, na gaflat se raho ekdum..
nashe mein sair kar, apni khudi ko tu jalaata ja.
na mulla ho, na ho brahmen, dui ki chod kar puja..
hukm hai shah Qalander ka, anal-Haq tu kahaata ja.
kahe Mansoor Mastana, maine haq dil mein pehchana..
wahi masto(n) ka maikhana, usi ke beech aata ja.
