God is the Light
How great the wonder of the heavens
And the timeless beauty of the night
How great, then how great the Creator?
And its star like priceless jewels
Far beyond the reach of kings
Bow down for the shepherd guiding him home
But how many eyes are closed
To the wonder of this night?

How great the beauty of the earth and the creatures
who dwell on her

As its mountains pierce the clouds
High above the lives of men
Weeping rivers for thousands of years
But how many hearts are closed
To the wonders of this sight?
Like birds in a cage, asleep with closed wings
But as work stops with the call to prayer
And the birds recite - here too are signs
God is the Light, God is the Light
How great the works of man and the things he makes
How great, then how great the Creator?
Though he strives to reach the heavens
He can barely survive
The wars of the world he lives in
Yet how many times he’s tried, himself to immortalise?
Like his parents before him in the garden of Eden

Do u earnestly intend to reach the divine abode of GOD , Do u wish to be true devotee of God ? Being an ardent devotee of God depends upon - how much intense your admiration is for the Perfect Master , how much ur heart throbs out of love for the Perfect Master . Reaching the divine abode of Lord solely depends upon-how much intense ur faith is in the Perfect Master and his Divine instructions . Shri Guru Nanak dev ji extols ,,,,,,,, JA KE MAN GUR KI PARTEET , TIS JAN AAVE HAR PRABH CHEET ...... "The one whose mind blooms with the flowering faith for Sadguru/perfect master - his heart gets adorned by the Supreme Lord ." The divine tree of devotion can flourish and grow only if watered by the love for Sadguru and fertilized by intense faith in him . God, the Supreme form of Truth , Himself manifests and embllishes the heart of His beloeved devotee in whose heart - pastures the hallowed blossoms of love and faith for Sadguru bloom . However , the one whose heart is bereft of faith and love for his Sadguru/master can wither away from the path of devotion at any time , leading to the mounting up of perils and miseries in his life :
