Ammu Veer, don't get me wrong on this bro, but what lado has said on this, has some weight.
I don't support the verdict that ALL Jatts are racist, but a majority of our community is very racist.
So far till now, what I've learned about our community is that we feel a very illegible sense of superiority over others, and with the sense of supeority we forget humanity, we feel that we are the best and rest of the people in the world just suck and they have their place beneath our feet.

Some Jatts won't even talk to a person of a lower caste, althought for me the word "caste" doesn't exist but I am talking about the people for whom it still exists.
Is this not a a sign of racism ? If you make fun of the other person and disrespect him or her based on the caste then what else is it than racism ??

Out here the word "racist" doesn't mean committing hate crimes or something, but a mere sense of racial superioty. But don't forget this kind of a superior feel of self has lead to some serious crimes in relation to the race. For example, miserable mistreatment of dalits(lower caste tribes and castes) in Punjab and now a days illegible mistreatment of Bihari workers in Punjab.Jatts call themselves as a hard working community but today it's the Bihari Bhaiyas who work in our agricltural farms, and still they don't get treated fairly.Imagine if these workers leave Punjab, then do you think our people can cope up without them ? I don't think so because today's Jatt is more busy with the gerhi culture in Chandigarh, yo  yo rap and not to forget the nasha.Infact the youth of our Jatt community doesn't even respect it's own elders, that fear of the elders is nowhere seen in them, as far as the pinds(villages) are concerend.

Our previous generation was far much greater than ours, they were the real deal, they didn't have this boastful attitude, they were attached to their soil  and religion and barely ever thought of leaving their nation for money. They were excellent kabaddi and kushti players, much more humble and much more fearing towards their own parents(our grandparents). It is their hard work and image that we're using and that to in a very negative way.

I was born and raised out of Punjab, so I've been away from the typical Jatt atmosphere, but I know about Punjab as much as any Jatt born there.I see my Jatt cousins in Punjab different from me.I'm being frank on this even if includes my own relatives.I feel bad on this.

Jatts need to learn to respect others and their cultures too.Jatts take pride in making fun of others, whether they're Biharis or Bhappas.Don't forget, our beloved Gur Gobind Singh Ji were also born in Bihar(Patna) and many of his scripts clearly reflects use of Braj Bhasha.Even Bhappas are better off than us as far as committment to Sikhi is concerned, because they atleast are loyal towards the "rehat" of the Sikhi. How many Jatts do you see in Punajb today who maintain the rehat ? Hardly any nowadys. They're all balds now, rather than having some shame of keeping atleast a little longer hair with a sober style, they prefer becoming completely balds or with strange reptile like hairstyles.Even besides this we call ourselves as "Putt Sardara De", Sardari ta rahi hi nahi hun, jado tak apna nau na dasso koi pishanda v nahi ke assi Sikh haa, par assi tan v mukhaul karde dooje Sikha da jo sadde to change aa.

Talk about women.Do Jatts respect them ? I don't think so.In today's date, mothers in many Jatt families don't want their daughters to be married to a Jatt, because they don't want their daughters to suffer they way they've suffered in a strigent atmosphere of Jatt families where they don't treat their women rightly and fairly. So they prefer a groom from a Non-Jatt Sikh family.
Although now things have changed in Jatt families but only a few and that to with the ones who are abroad because they grow out of the narrow mindedness and learn and see the world broadly which is much more happier and  prosperous without that narrow minded attitude.

I mean what is with all the pride ? Jatts make fun of Chamaars as toilet cleaners and all, but what do they themselves do aborad ? They do the same ! Many of them are working as daily labourers too.Where's the Jatt pride now ? Then they come back to India and buy big cars and do all the "tohar" and say "I've come from vilait".They show off in front of their own people of the state.

Why does a Jatt has to become manly only when he is drunk ? Why can't he be the same regardless ? Is he not confident about himself when he's sober ? Why does he have to ramble when he's drunk ?

Anyway, I don't want to get off topic on this, or go negative on Jatts.

So all in all, "racist" here doesn't mean the way racist actually means, but it does mean the sense of supeority that we Jatts possess in ourselves which we don't even keep to ourselves, we'd rather show it off to others just to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, and other people just say to themselves in their mind "let the joker bask how much he wants"....

On the other hand we have educated Jatts too, just like yourself. You understand the difference between right and wrong because of your intellectual capabilty which has come from education. You have humility in you and respect for others, but again how many of like you do we have in the Jatts...???

I really mean no offence to anyone, I am sorry if I've hurt anyone, I don't mean to hurt my people but I just felt like speaking frankly on this.
We need to get out of this pathetic mentality and start living like down to earth people and have respect and humility for everyone.

I think this is what lado meant.I think she didn't mean to target the entire community as a whole a but larger part of the community.

Thanks for reading, and kind apologies if anyone has felt offended because it has not been intentional.

A: Some Sikhs do not completely follow the teaching for Sikh Gurus. Gurus instructed to use Singh and Kaur as the last name for male and female to eliminate the caste system. Sikhs that use Gill, Sandhu, Sidhu,Saini extra as their last name and treat Singh and Kaur as their middle name are much interested in preserving their caste. A real Sikh will only use Singh or Kaur as his or her last name...
