Unusual meeting took place in Turkey. The tallest man in the world -Turk Sultan Kosen - 246.5 centimeters met the smallest man of China’s man-Pingping. His height is 73 cm. When they stand one next to the other, it looks really weird. Sultan Kosen is more than 3 times higher than Pingping.

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 12 -- A Swedish woman said she nearly fainted when animal shelter workers called to say they had found her cat after nine years.
Vera Dettmann said the then-3-year-old cat, Lakrits, ran away shortly after her family moved to Stockholm in 2001 and they could find no trace of their pet during months of searching, The Local reported Friday.
Dettmann said there were sightings of a cat matching Lakrits' description in 2008, but she did not allow herself to believe the cat might still be alive.
However, Dettmann received a phone call Thursday from workers at a cat refuge, who identified Lakrits by a tattoo on his ear.
"I thought I was going to faint when they rang," Dettmann said. "When the kids and I saw him this evening, it was like we had found a lost child."

NEW YORK, Feb. 12 -- Fourteen couples are scheduled to wed Friday and Saturday atop New York's Empire State Building in Valentine's-themed weddings hosted by a wedding Web site.
TheKnot.com said 13 couples from across the United States will wed on the 61st floor of the skyscraper and the grand prize-winning couple, Greg Adams and Kristy Magers of California, will exchange their vows on the 86th floor Observatory.
The Web site said the fourteen brides, dressed in their gowns, will pull a switch to illuminate the Empire State Building -- immortalized as a place for romance in the films "An Affair to Remember" and "Sleepless in Seattle" -- in Valentine's Day colors.
