My friend,in his quest to know the reasons which make a girl happy, discovered a few habits that all women love, and all of these are pretty simple to adopt. So if you too are like him, trying to win over your love of life, then all you need to do is adopt some basic habits and you will never have to hear her complains.Compliments – Make her feel special All women love to be appreciated. Make her feel special by giving compliments on her beauty, style of dressing, her laugh, the way she talks, the way she walks, there can be hundreds or probably thousands of such things.
But always make sure that your compliments must sound true. You would surely never want to complement a fat woman on her figure; doing so might just result in her thinking of you as a flirt and a guy who is not serious. Simple compliments like “You’re pretty” or “You look great in this dress” will work wonders for her.Call her – Woman love to receive phone calls Being the most talkative creature on the earth, all women, whether in 20’s or 40’s like to be called up often. It may not be an hour long conversation but women simply love the fact that you are concerned and you keep her informed. Conversation over phone is as important as meeting personally.
Keeping her informed about your plans or other little things in your life helps in building trust.Priority – They always want to be the topmost in your list You have planned to watch soccer match this evening but your girl friend calls up and says she has bought two tickets for a new movie. Though the choice is yours and you can choose to do any of the things you like.
You may realize it or not, women appreciate this mystery. They know you love to watch soccer, which is all the more reason why your girl appreciates it when you choose to be with her instead of watching your favorite soccer. This makes her feel special to see that you have cancelled all your plans just to be with her.Loads of Attention All women appreciate the fact that you carefully listen to what she has to say and actually care about it. Always listen very carefully and try to ask questions, being a mere spectator won’t help you either, as she might think of you as a guy who nods his neck in support of whatever she says. And always try to remember what she’s said.
If you pay attention to what she says, it shows that you care about what’s going on with her, and she will just love it.Women love surprises Any woman who’s been dating for some time probably thinks she knows you completely and you too are like people she has known. So, when you surprise her with an unexpected gift, an unexpected phone call or cool date, she’ll feel like she’s found somebody who is different and somebody who is really special.
But make sure the surprise you are planning is a happy surprise otherwise things might just turn out the other way leaving her annoyed and angry. Each woman has a different way of thinking and the things which might work for some may just turn out be a horrifying experience for others.

It hurts When you don't talk It hurts When you don't touch It hurts When you're first on my list But I'm only seventh or such It hurts When you don't care Or even seem to like it When I'm not there It hurts when you give your day away
She says there is always someone Who loves the most and someone Who loves the least And I believe her
Cause it hurts When I come second Or You don't bother To think about me It hurts That I love the most And it hurts That you love the least

ALBERT LEA, Minn., Feb. 13 -- A Minnesota farmer's wife has received a valentine possibly only a farmer's wife could appreciate -- a half-mile-wide heart outlined in cow manure.
Bruce Andersland spent hours with a manure spreader hitched to his tractor Wednesday and Thursday creating the heart, the Albert Lea Tribune, Minn., reported. It is in a square-mile field 12 miles outside of Albert Lea that has belonged to his family for 87 years.
Once he finished the job, Andersland hired a pilot to take a picture of the heart from the air, the only place to see it properly.
Beth Andersland, who has been married to Bruce for 37 years, found out what her husband was up to Wednesday night when she found the design of the heart, complete with arrow, on a piece of scrap paper in his jacket pocket. She told the Tribune the valentine is the biggest she has ever received.
"He thinks of cute things to do once in a while, so I was a little surprised," she said.
Beth Andersland raises purebred Simmental cattle so she is familiar with manure. She said snow mixed with the manure made the valentine somewhat lighter -- although it also provided a light background.

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 13 -- Residents and tourists in Los Angeles say seeing the letters of the famed Hollywood sign altered for a protest was both amusing and confusing.
Holly Montgomery, a visitor from Minnesota, said she was excited to photograph the famous giant letters during her visit to Los Angeles, but a covering the letters with a "Save the Peak" mesh sign only proved confusing as the sign temporarily read "Saveypood," The New York Daily News said.
"What's a 'Pood,' and who's trying to save it?" Montgomery, 44, said of Friday's preparations for a protest against an area development.
The "Save the Peak" campaign is in opposition to plans to build four luxury homes near the famed Hollywood sign.
The Trust for Public Land is attempting to use the altered landmark sign to raise enough funds to purchase the plot where the homes are to be built.
Los Angeles resident Don Diers told the Daily News he used Friday's sign switch to capture a rare, albeit immature, photograph.
"I just framed a photo with a lamppost so it says, 'Save Poo,'" Diers, 51, said. "I know I'm too old for scatological jokes, but I couldn't resist."

A girl was visiting her blonde friend who had acquired two new dogs, and asked her what their names were.
The blonde responded by saying that one was named Rolex and one was named Timex.
Her friend said, "Whoever heard of someone naming dogs like that?
"HELLOOOooo," answered the blonde. "They're watch dogs!"

After his death, Osama bin Laden went to paradise. He was greeted by George Washington, who slapped him across the face and yelled, "How dare you attack the nation I helped conceive!"
Patrick Henry punched him in the nose and shouted, "You wanted to end America's liberty, but you failed."
James Madison appeared, kicked him in the crotch, and said, "This is why I allowed the government to provide for the common defense."
Bin Laden was subjected to similar beatings from James Randolph, James Monroe, Thomas Jefferson and 66 other early Americans.
As he writhed in pain on the ground, an angel appeared. Bin Laden said, "This was not what I was promised."
The angel replied, " I told you there would be 72 Virginians waiting for you. What did you think I said?"

STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Feb. 12 -- A Swedish woman said she nearly fainted when animal shelter workers called to say they had found her cat after nine years.
Vera Dettmann said the then-3-year-old cat, Lakrits, ran away shortly after her family moved to Stockholm in 2001 and they could find no trace of their pet during months of searching, The Local reported Friday.
Dettmann said there were sightings of a cat matching Lakrits' description in 2008, but she did not allow herself to believe the cat might still be alive.
However, Dettmann received a phone call Thursday from workers at a cat refuge, who identified Lakrits by a tattoo on his ear.
"I thought I was going to faint when they rang," Dettmann said. "When the kids and I saw him this evening, it was like we had found a lost child."

The Pope and Tiger Woods died on the same day and because of an administrative mix up the Pope went to hell and Tiger Woods went to heaven.
The Pope explains the situation to the administrative clerk in hell, and after checking the paperwork admits that there is an error. “However”, the clerk explains, “it would be 24 hours before it can be rectified”.
Next day the Pope is called and Hell’s staff bids him farewell.
On the way up, the Pope meets Tiger Woods coming down from heaven and they stop to have a chat.
“Sorry about the mix up”, apologies the Pope “No problem” replied Tiger Woods.
Pope: “I am really anxious to get to heaven”
Tiger: “Why is that?”
Pope: “All my life I have wanted to meet the Virgin Mary”
Tiger: “You’re a day late” :

Within the hands of man is the ability to hurt or nurture.
In the hands of man, is the capacity for love, compassion.
In the hands of man, is the concept to make choices. Good or evil.
In the hands of man, is the acceptance of his own mortality

A huge canvas spread between two banks of lake Lagoda in Russia, reminds me of a sailing ship, being carried by the wind. At a time of huge demand for new solutions in the field of renewable energy sources, architect Laurie Chetwood suggests a literal wind dam, that captures and channels the wind into a turbine. Far different from normal generators, this idea will certainly be, if nothing else, controversial. In fact, one of the inconvenients of turbine generators, placed on top of metal towers is the fact that they ruin the surrounding landscape: aeolian parks, which contain dozens of these towers, are just like forests made out of steel. Trying to solve this problem, the author of this project tried to combine engineering with sculpture, with accent on the latter. He is, actually, the first to admit that its shape came to be, as a result of wanting to be functional, but also out of a desire to create something rather sculptural: like a bird that dips its beak in the water, no more than a dot in the landscape.
This system consists of a canvas, with 25 metres in height and 75 metres in width, suspended by cables that channel the wind into a central opening, connected to a turbine that is also suspended. According to scientific studies, its concave shape is particularly effective in capturing the wind. Its similarities, in shape, to a water dam gave the project the nickname wind dam. Its construction is schedule to start in 2010 and, if everything runs smoothly, there already are plans to build another dam in the same area. However, not everyone is keen on this idea and controversy has arisen. Some claim the 'dam' is a fraud, as it lacks any sort of undertanding of the basic principles of fluid dynamics. According to these, what makes any dam work is a difference in altitude (when it comes to water) and a difference in pressure when it comes to wind. In a ship's sail, the difference in pressure is small, nevertheless, its area is broad, which gives it impulse.
That having been said, at the present time, the canvas will only increase the wind's speed, not its pressure, seeing as the system will only work as an ordinary aeolian generator. The only thing innovative about it, then, is its shape...

Morocco is in the heart of some of my closest friends, but I must confess I still haven't been convinced by adventure reports and promises of fantastic, natural landscapes. Either way, should you ever feel tempted to embark upon such a trip, there is nothing like going prepared for the hard bargaining the people in this land drive.
In Morocco, camels are extremely useful and valuable animals. Strong, resistent and extremely docile and excentric, as such, they are often used as currency for buying, among other things, a wife. As this might very well be the best deal of your life, don't forget to previously evaluate how much your wife is worth, using this price calculator. Quickly you'll know how many camels, goats and sheep your wife is worth.
In case you don't know, a camel is approximately worth 2000 euros and lives for about 23 years. :)

Bond Girls add some sparkle to the movies of the saga, are, afterall, an important part of its success.Besides, they're a pretty good standard of the aesthetic pattern of the era when each movie was made: fashion, the ideal beauty of the time and other, more subtle aspects...The beauty of these women is more or less seen as unquestionable. Some of them even posed for Playboy... So it's hard to chose them based on the beauty criterion, but the relativity of this concept is also one of the interesting questions the series brings up. I chose six Bond girls, the ones I consider more important, not necessarily prettier or more interesting by today's standards. One of the "oldest" is Ursula Andress, featured in the first James Bond movie, Doctor No. The actress' face is melancholic and its lines are full, especially her mouth. Ursula isn't thin: she's strong, a bit athletic, even; not fat either - far from it! - but you can't guess the muscles under her skin; she has long hair and the attitude of someone who's about to faint. Add a knee-length, tight dress in garrish shintz and a short cardigan, or maybe not, and a bulky hairstyle and you've got your 60s female prototype! In the 70s it was Roger Moore's turn to play the hero and he teamed up with various actresses who personified the hippie look of the time. Jane Seymour was in Live and Let Die, in 1973 and the extremely blonde Britt Ekland , in 1974. Both are really thin, their body and face, with long, straight hair and an angelic look. Colourful, printed fabrics, exotic jewellery, longs, flowing low-cut dresses, bell bottoms and high-heeled shoes (fashion from this period makes me cringe...).In the next decade, exoticness disappears to give way to an almost baroque sophistication. It's Duran Duran's era, - remember? - who were in charge of the soundtrack for A View to a Kill (1985). Bond's "companion" is actress Tanya Roberts who was up to the challege of playing the ideal woman: a beautiful, made-up face, sophisticated hair-styles. In addition, her look is elegance personified...The gorgeous Izabella Scorupco, who acts alongside Pierce Brosnam in Goldeneye, in 1995, has a perky and independent look, a typical "modern woman", still popular today. She's as comfortable in a Versace evening gown as in a pair of worn-out overalls. Powerful and irresistable...Recently, the 007 series has become "politically correct" (a rather clouded concept...). In Die another day, in 2002, the bond girl in action was a young African American actress, the elegant Halle Berry. The ethnic touch suits the saga... A lot of fitness and salads, tons of proteins, short hair, tonned body and designer clothes are Jinx (nickname for Giacinta)'s trademarks. Finally, two exceptional ladies, from my point of view: Barbara Bach, owner of the fiercest pair of eyes in the entire series; and Miriam d'Abo, the beautiful cellist from The living daylights, in whose presence Timothy Dalton is completely upstaged, even though he plays the main character...

Hard to say just where this weapon hasn't reached. Created in communist Russia, the AK-47 has shown up in 92 countries, has been part of 90% of wars in the second half of the 20th century (sometimes on both sides) and has killed at least 7 million people. It won over American rifles in Vietname, replaced spears in warrior tribes in Africa, it became an icon in Mozambique's flag, a monument in Nicaragua and, today, is in the hands of Islamic terrorists and drug dealers. At the age of 60, the AK-47 tells the story of the 20th century. In the 1940s, weapon designers realized that the machineguns used in the trenches during WWI were out-of-date. With the invention of armoured tanks and wide-range artillery, whoever stood still in the open field was under serious risk of being hit. Unlike the lingering conflicts in WWI, with these weapons the fights were fast, urban with moving troops looking for moving targets. This is how the first assault rifle, the Sturm Gewehr, was born - a light German weapon, with intense and instantaneous firing power.
When WWII was over, Russia's domination was extended to Germany and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin decided to create a similar automatic weapon, that could be used in every communist country. In order to decide which weapon would become Soviet Union's trademark, the government promoted, in 1947, a contest between designers. The winner was a former WWII soldier that had begun drawing the weapon five years earlier, while on a hospital bed.Mikhail Kalashnikov In 1941, Mikhail Kalashnikov was 22 and working with Soviet tanks' mechanisms in WWII. During the nazi invasion of Moscow, he was forced to ride one of the tanks himself to fight against Hitler's troops. The Germans bombed 90% of the city, including Kalashnikov's tank. His right shoulder was destroyed and he was sent into a hospital, where he stayed for nearly a year. With nothing better to do, he spent his time drawing weapons. "Once, a soldier in the bed next to me asked me: 'Why do we have one rifle for 2 or 3 soldiers, while each German has automatic weapons?' So I decided to design one for us.", he told British newspaper The Guardian, in 2003.
