Sportsman would've been a tough 1 between mccaw and marshall. Both are excellent players, but i guess it went to richie mccaw because he's a rugby captain. Adams and shanks were also pretty strong female athletes, adams proved she was going to be a challenge, she definitely deserved the sportswoman of the year, this is coming from someone that loves cycling btw.  The AB should've won the sports team of the year, the boys put themselves out there winning the grand slam and tri nations. The AW didn't even get through although they haven't lost, they still didn't get through either. Whoever made the decision to make them the sports team of the year is a prick!  :wait: and none of these would've happened without the 2 coaches ricky herbert and graham henry. Kudos for them 2. Kearney's still new to the whole coaching thing but hope he hangs on there. He reminds me of the former crusaders coach, robbie deans.  :loll:
