What kind of love are we talking about? I have a feeling you're asking about a life without a partner, without a one-on-one romantic love and relationship. The answer to that is yes, life is life and worthwhile regardless of whether one ever has a romantic relationship.

But many people these days seem to think that their lives can't be "complete" or satisfying unless they have romantic love. This is actually backwards: as long as someone feels their quality of life depends on another person, they can never know true happiness or satisfaction... or love.

There are many kinds of love, and the most important is self-love. Until and unless you love yourself, you can't experience much more than pale glimpses of what love, ANY kind of love, is all about. We all experience love of many kinds in our lives. I'm not sure it would be possible to NOT experience it, unless there was brain damage. Even the most seriously emotionally traumatized people can still experience love of one kind or there is no love in your life, there is... you just have to learn to recognize it.

In front of the person you love, your heart beats faster.
But in front of the person you like, you get happy.

In front of the person you love, winter seems like spring.
But in front of the person you like, winter is just beautiful winter.

If you look into the eyes of the one you love,you blush.
But if you look into the eyes of the one you like,you smile.

In front of the person you love, you can't say everything on your mind.
But in front of the person you like, you can.

In front of the person you love, you tend to get shy.
But in front of the person you like, you can show your own self.

You can't look straight into the eyes of the one you love.
But you can always smile into the eyes of the one you like.

When the one you love is crying, you cry with them.
But when the one you like is crying, you end up comforting.

The feeling of love starts from the eye.
But the feeling if like starts from the ear.

So if you stop liking a person you used to like,all you need to do is cover your ears.
But if you try to close your eyes, love turns into a drop of tear and remains in your heart forever ..

ਕਹਿੰਦੇ ਨੇ ਬਚਪਣ ਦੀ ਯਾਰੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਹੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਏ.. ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਤੇ ਯਾਰ ਸਾਰੀ ਉਮਰ ਭੁਲਾ ਕੇ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ਭੁਲਦਾ.. . ਕੁੱਝ ਰਿਸ਼ਤੇ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤਮਾਮ ਉਮਰਾਂ ਤਾਈ ਨਹੀ ਭੁਲਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਿਆਂ ਚੋ ਇੱਕ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਹੈ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਦਾ ..।।
ਕੁੱਝ ਇਹੋ ਜਿਹਾ ਹੀ ਡੁੰਘਾ ਰਿਸ਼ਤਾ ਸੀ.। ਜੀਤ ਤੇ ਹਰਮਨ ਦਾ.. ਦੋਵੇ ਗਵਾਂਢ ਚ ਰਹਿੰਦੇ ਸਨ..ਇੱਕਠੇ ਪੜਦੇ , ਇੱਕਠੇ ਖੇਡਦੇ ..। ਜੀਤ ਉਦੋ ਪੰਝਵੀ ਚ' ਹੀ ਸੀ ਜਦੋ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਹੋਗਈ ਸੀ..। ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਜੀਤ ਦੇ ਘਰ ਦੇ ਹਲਾਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਾੜੇ ਸਨ..।। ਹਰਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਜੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪੁੱਤਾਂ ਵਾਂਗ ਸੱਮਝਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੀਤੀ..ਜੀਤ ਤੇ ਹਰਮਨ ਦੀ ਦੋਸਤੀ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਗੂੜੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ..। ਇੱਕ ਦਿਨ ਹਰਮਨ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਬਦਲੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਪਿੰਡ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਦੂਰ ਕਿਸੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ...।। ਜਾਦਾਂ ਹੋਇਆ ਹਰਮਨ ਜੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਘੂਟ ਕੇ ਜਫ਼ੀ ਪਾ ਕੇ ਮਿਲਿਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਇਹ ਵੀ ਕਹਿ ਗਇਆ.. ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਹਮੇਸ਼ਾ ਯਾਦ ਰੱਖਾਗਾਂ ਤੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਕੋਲ ਇਹ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਾਗਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਜਿੰਦਗੀ ਚ ਹਰ ਇਕ ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਮਿਲੇ... ਜੇ ਕਰ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੂਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਸੇ ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰਿਆਂ ਬਣਾਵੇ, ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਵੇ ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਖੂਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇਵੇ... ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਹਰਮਨ ਅੱਖੀ ਹੰਝੂ ਲਕੋ ਕੇ ਚਲਾ ਗਿਆ..।। ਤੇ ਜੀਤ ਵੀ ਗੁੰਮ-ਸੁਮ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ..।।

ਸਮਾਂ ਬਦਲਿਆ.... ਜੀਤ ਦਾ ਵਿਆਹ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਕੈਨਡਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੈਟਲ ਵੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ..। ਉਸਦੇ ਖੁਦ ਦਾ ਸਟੋਰ ਸੀ.. ਇਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਪਰ ਹਰਮਨ ਦਾ ਕੁੱਝ ਪਤਾ ਨਾ ਚਲਇਆ..। ਜੀਤ ਉਤੋ ਉਤੋ ਖੁਸ਼ ਤਾਂ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਆਪਨੀ ਔਲਾਦ ਦਾ ਦੁਖ ਸਤਾਉਦਾਂ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਸੀ..। ਅੱਜ ਵਿਆਹ ਨੂੰ ੨੦ ਸਾਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਗੇ ਸੀ... ਜੀਤ ਔਲਾਦ ਦੀ ਖੂਸ਼ੀ ਤੋ ਵਾੰਝਾ ਸੀ.....ਦਿਨ ਰਾਤ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਅਰਦਾਸ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ..ਕੇ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਝੋਲੀ ਵੀ ਭਰ ਦੇਵੇ। ਦੋ ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਸਦੇ ਸਟੋਰ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ੧੬-੧੭ ਕੂ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਜਵਾਕ ਕੰਮ ਮੰਗਣ ਆਇਆ..। ਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਕੰਮ ਤੇ ਰੱਖ ਲਿਆ.. ਹਫਤੇ ਕੂ ਬਾਆਦ ਫੋਨ ਤੇ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਨ ਤੋ ਬਾਆਦ ਉਹ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਇਆ..। ਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ ਹੋਇਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕੇ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਮੋਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ...। ਬੜੇ ਚਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪੜਨ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ..। ਜੀਤ ਨੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਰਾਉਦਿਆਂ ਪੁੱਛਇਆ ਪੁੱਤ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਚ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਣ -ਕੋਣ ਏ.. ਤਾਂ ਉਹ ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਨਹੀ ..ਪਿੰਡ ਸ਼ੇਖਪੁਰ ਤੋ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਆਉਦਿਆਂ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਦੱਸਦੇ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਾਦਾ - ਦਾਦੀ ਸੜਕ ਹਾਦਸੇ ਚ ਪੂਰੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸੀ ... ਤੇ ਮਾਂ ਮੇਰੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਨਮ ਦੇ ਕੇ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋ ਗਈ... ਬਾਪੂ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਬੜੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਾਲਇਆ ਏ... ਤੇ ਅੱਜ ਉਹ ਵੀ.............
ਇਹਨਾਂ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਫਿਰ ਰੋਣ ਲੱਗ ਪਿਆ...।। ਤੇ ਜੀਤ ਉਸਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਬਾਰੇ ਸੱਭ ਕੁੱਝ ਜਾਣ ਕੇ ਸੁੰਣ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ... ਦਰਸਲ ਇਹ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਹਰਮਨ ਦਾ ਹੀ ਸੀ... ਤੇ ਸ਼ੇਖਪੂਰ ਜੀਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਦੇ ਹੀ ਪਿੰਡ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਸੀ । ਜੀਤ ਦੀਆ ਅੱਖਾਂ ਭਰ ਗਈਆਂ ਤੇ ਉਸਨੇ ਉਸ ਮੁੰਡੇ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਲ ਨਾਲ ਲਾ ਲਿਆ..।। ਤੇ ਹੌਸਲਾ ਦਿੰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਿਹਾ ਪੁੱਤ ਰੋ ਨਾ ਅੱਜ ਤੋ ਬਾਆਦ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰਾ ਪੁੱਤ ਏ... ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਗੱਲ ਲਾ ਕੇ ਜੀਤ ਬਹੁਤ ਰੋਇਆ... ਤੇ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ... ਇੰਝ ਲੱਗ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ.. ਜਿਵੇ ਹਰਮਨ ਜੀਤ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੋਵੇ...

ਵੇਖ ਯਾਰਾ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਸੀ ਨਾ...ਜੇ ਤੂੰ ਕਿਸੇ ਖੂਸ਼ੀ ਨੂੰ ਤਰਸੇ... ਤਾਂ ਰੱਬ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜ਼ਰਿਆਂ ਬਣਾਵੇ.........ਮੈਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਕੋਲ ਬੁਲਾ ਲਵੇ ਪਰ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸਾਰੀ ਖੂਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਦੇਵੇ...
