Now for what is jat: The Jat people ethnic group which live in Northern India and Pakistan regions, have many different types of religions, professions and languages. They have a distinct cultural history that can be historically traced back to ancient times. Some have moved to Western countries for business and commercial reasons. There some have become prominent sections of the immigrant peoples in the West. The Jats were designated in a British report as a Martial Race. 'Martial Race' was a designation created by officials of British India to describe "races" (peoples) that were thought to possess qualities such as courage, loyalty, self sufficiency, physical strength, resilience, orderliness, hard working, fighting tenacity and military tactics. The British recruited heavily from these so-called 'Martial Races' for service in the colonial army. In regard to the characteristics of the Jat Sikhs Captain Bingley [3] quoted Thomason in 1899, "they are manly without false pride; undemonstrative; independent without insolence; reserved in manner, but good-natured, light-hearted, and industrious. No one could be associated with them for any time without conceiving both respect and liking for them". During British rule in India, the government periodically assigned the task, of producing handbooks to recruit new Sikhs for military service, to various military officers: Captain Falcon, R.W. [1] (A.D. 1896), Captain Bingley, A.H. [3] (A.D. 1899), and Major Barstow, A.E. [2] (A.D. 1928). Some of the descriptions of the Jat Sikhs given in the these Military documents are as follows: "The Sikh Jat is generally tall and muscular, with well shaped limbs, erect carriage, and strongly marked and handsome features. The Jat Sikhs have always been famous for their fine physique and are surpassed by no race in India for high-bred looks, smartness, and soldierly bearing. They make admirable soldiers, when well led, inferior to no native race in India, with more dogged courage than dash, steady in the field, and trustworthy in difficult circumstances. The mass of Jat Sikh population may fairly be said to be contented and law-abiding [2]". "The Jats of the Punjab proper (in modern Punjab almost all of them belong to the Sikh faith) have been truly described as the backbone of the province by character and physique, as well as by numbers and locality. They are stalwart sturdy yeomen, of great independence, industry, and agricultural skill, and collectively form perhaps the finest peasantry in India. Sturdy independence, and patient vigorous labour, are perhaps the strongest characteristics of the Jat Sikhs. What is wrong with modernizing a country? But Punjab is headed in the wrong direction at the moment. Also, everyone’s thinking isn't the same as she describes. She shouldn't care about what people think about her or say about her. If she has an opportunity right now, why blew it? Go for it. I believe there is nothing wrong with being proud, as I'm guilty of that. But getting religious symbols as tattoo's is very wrong. Many of our people have ekam kar on their hands, but is it really worth it? Because how many times do they get their hands dirty? Everyday.

I used to do the same, but not anymore. I'm currently working at a liquor store and homeless people always come and they use all of their money to buy alcohol. They drink, drink and drink until the ambulance comes and picks them up. After they are released from the hospital, they do the same thing over and over until they end up kill themselves by drinking so much. I have seen so much; they just want to die and not live. There are homeless shelters and agencies that are willing to help these people, but what can you do, when they just don't want to be helped? I know this homeless guy who always come our liquor store, some agency helped him get on track. He was working and everything, but now he's back to his old days, drinking, drinking and more drinking. It got the the point where we have stopped selling alcohol to these homeless people now days. So if you are giving them money, you are just killing them. There is another homeless guy around the place where I work, he doesn't drink. He's always just sitting at the same spot every day. One restaurant gives him free food anytime he wants.
In India, I do give money to old people, disabled or kids. Also titlee when I went to India in december, I had a foj of bachyian after me too. I felt so bad for them and gave them the money I had in my pocket, but they would just not leave me, this one bacha started grabbing onto my jeans, I told him to parah hat or I was going to slap him just to scare him. He just would not stop even after I told him that, then I got inside the car and they grabbed onto the car and started banging on the windows. This is when I got mad, I grabbed the hockey from the side and got outside, then they ran away. It's like they were trained to get as much money they can from people.

Even If we were to build khalistan now, it would not be possible looking at the conditions of punjab. Farmers committing suicides, youth heading in the wrong direction, corruption, Hospitals now days are a form of business. Farmers who work day and night and feed the whole country can barely feed their families and are under loans? Young kids are walking around with degrees and can't find a job? What they end up doing? Either they end up overseas working like animals or start doing drugs in punjab and killing themselves. If there were jobs or even if farming was worth doing then no one would ever go overseas. Will these facts really have any use to Punjab in this horrible time? No, because we should be more worried about turning punjab into right direction instead of building khalistan. Spreading these facts about khalistan doesn't really help anyone, it only starts religious wars and people die. What comes out of it? Nothing at all. But the government still promote these religious fights instead of putting an end to them. A country can not head in the right direction, if its people keep on fighting over stupidity of religion. What has happened, put it in the past, let it go and think what needs to be done in the future but our people don't think this way. They must have riots over religion and get people killed. A good example is osama bin laden, did the americans start killing and kicking out all muslims out of america for what osama did on 9/11? No.
