First 1 GB Ram isn't enough he should have aatleast 2 GB
GPU (Graphics processing uint) is old at Nvidia 6600 GT is too old for that game, it is trying to render the screen but the rate is slow. Try upgrading the graphic cars with Nvdia 9400/9500 GT 1 GB DDR Memory everything will be okay. :)
I am facing the same problem, I am playing Prototype,at some places the game takes long time to stable even its nt that old. I am getting Nvidia 9800 GT next week.

hahaha maen tan bada shoukeen aan lolz..but problem hai k meri ram only 256 aa..bohat slowwwwwwwwww....always hanging lolz and internet conection speed okay hai but many times DC ho janda lolz..bas kuj dina tak ram v modify karni aa then i will beat u with bat n hit u for sixesssss after every 295 balls ;) hahaha
