1984 ਸਿੱਖ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਨੂੰ ‘ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ’ ਘੋਸ਼ਿਤ ਕਰਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਾਈਟ ਹਾਊਸ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਲਈ ਆਨ ਲਾਈਨ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ
15 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ 25000 ਦਸਤਖ਼ਤਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ
1984 ਵੇਲੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਹੋਰ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਉਸ ਵੇਲੇ ਦੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਹਿ ’ਤੇ 30000 ਸਿੱਖਾਂ ਦਾ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਹੋਇਆ, ਤਿੰਨ ਲੱਖ ਸਿੱਖ ਬੇਘਰ ਹੋਏ ਅਤੇ ਇਸਤਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਬੇਪਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਇਸ ਕਾਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਦੰਗੇ-ਫਸਾਦ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਛਡਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਯਤਨ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਅਹਿਸਾਸ ਦਿਵਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੰਗੇ-ਫਸਾਦ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਨ ਸਗੋਂ ਵਿਉਂਤਬੱਧ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ‘ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ’ ਸੀ, ਇਕ ਆਨ ਲਾਈਨ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦੇ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤੀ ਭਵਨ ਦਫਤਰ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਉਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਵਿਚ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਿੱਖ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਕਤਲੇਆਮ ਨੂੰ ‘ਸਿੱਖ ਨਸਲਕੁਸ਼ੀ’ ਮੰਨਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕੋਈ ਵੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਪਟੀਸ਼ਨ ਉਤੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਂਅ ਅਤੇ ਈਮੇਲ ਪਤਾ ਭਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਵੈਬ ਲਿੰਕ ਖੋਲ੍ਹਿਆ ਜਾਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਤੇ ਖਾਨੇ ਭਰ ਕੇ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਉਤਰ ਵਿਚ ਮਿਲੀ ਈ-ਮੇਲ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰਕੇ ਭੇਜੇ ਗਏ ਇਕ ਹੋਰ ਵੈਬ ਲਿੰਕ ਉਤੇ ਕੱਲਿਕ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇ ਜੀ। 15 ਦਸੰਬਰ ਤੱਕ 25000 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਦਸਤਖਤ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਅਮਰੀਕਾ ਦਾ ਓਬਾਮਾ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਉਤੇ ਅਗਲੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰਾ ਕੁਝ ਯੂ. ਐਨ. ਦੇ ਕਾਨੂੰਨ ਮੁਤਾਬਿਕ ਹੋ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਕਿ ਸਿੱਖ ਕੌਮ ਲਈ ਅਹਿਮ ਹੈ। ਨਿਊਜ਼ੀਲੈਂਡ ਵਸਦੇ ਸਮੂਹ ਭਾਰਤੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅਪੀਲ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਅੱਜ ਹੀ ਇਸ ਵੱਡਮੁਲੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਲਈ ਇਕ-ਦੋ ਮਿੰਟ ਦਾ ਸਮਾਂ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਹੇਠਾਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਵੈਬ ਲਿੰਕ ਉਤੇ ਜਾਓ।

8 ways ignore pain

Know the pros. Everybody has natural (and necessary) mechanisms for ignoring pain and negative feelings. The harder thing to do is to let yourself feel the feelings fully, when you are ready, and deal with them. However, at times it can be important to ignore them for some time. For example, when they are too powerful for you to deal with, and you are not ready, when they interfere with a strong need, such as the need for survival, to work for money, to negotiate a tough situation with people who cannot support you with your feelings, or to protect yourself from temporary hazards.

Know the cons. Read the warnings below. Hiding your feelings can delay your progress, can inhibit healthy communication and trust.

Control your anger. Before anything else, the key is anger. As anger builds in you, it can be used to help block off thinking. Try to concentrate to be angry and to push it down.

Stop feeling whatever it is If you wish to live with no sorrow, after you can control your anger well enough, begin to talk yourself out of sadness; to just not care. This is the next step in learning - to not lose yourself in emotions and feelings. Try to stop caring and say "I control my life." Be bold be strong. Try push it out of your head. Things wont bother you if you wont let them.

Block out mental stresses and pain for physical pain. This system is a bit different because now you must endure before you can truly leave behind physical pain. This doesn't mean you have to cut yourself. You just have to accept the feeling of pain when you're hurt. Find a sparring partner, a close friend perhaps, preferably someone bigger.

Focus. Now you must realize a truth in life. It's a truth that you will need to focus on. All your feelings come from thoughts and impulses in your head that tell you something is wrong or right, like a burn or a tickle. What you must do is realize that with enough pushing and controlled thought, you can change wrong to right, sorrow into happiness, etc. With pain, all you do is tell yourself it doesn't hurt. It seems simple, but is harder than one can truly imagine.

Find help from inspirational quotes. Try to look up inspiring quotes on Google. Try listening to songs that have strong lyrics.

Know that you won't always be hurting. Sooner or later, you'll find light at the end of the tunnel.

Snigdha Nandipati clinched the 2012 Scripps National Spelling Bee title with the French word guetapens. (If you're feeling cheeky, you could say that no guetapens could have tripped up Snigdha.) She won in the 13th round, beating Stuti Mishra, a 14-year-old from Orlando, Fla. Arvind Mahankali, a 12-year-old from Bayside Hills, N.Y. was third place for the second year in a row.
Snigdha is an 8th grade student at Francis Parker School, a private school in Mission Valley, according NBC San Diego. She also competed in last year’s contest and tied for 27th place. She was eliminated when she misspelled "kerystic."
