Lol that's cool. My parents used to be more than happy seeing me sitting with ma books cos it happened only once in a blue moon! And if it was unanticipated, they would say tinu kuch cahida ta ni (new stuff)? :hehe:

I usually crammed before my finals and cleared through. So imagine, how good I was at studying!  :D:

I'm ignorant of the American scoring thing, so can't say much. One thing I can say for sure, you can never meet their expectations :hehe: They have long forgotten their days, and now they don't understand that things aren't the same anymore.

Gosh! I am still left with my masters. Wonder if I have to listen to their locutions once again. :hehe:

Like if I felt like buying something which they didn't want me to, and how we say my other friend has got one so I gotta buy one too, they would go, "duje kooh wich giruge ta asi wi girna?" :D: :D:

Then I would go je tusi nai allow karna ta say it outright.. a kooh wale example na deya karo minu :D: But I found it so funny :hehe:

Americans should've just went with the flow, like seriously. Now people gotta do conversions cus of them. Lol.
No matter how hard you try you definitely can't meet their expectations. Maybe cus they know how well you can do.
At least you have your masters, I have yet to begin my college life. Imagine the pressure I'm gonna go through. Oh god help me.
Lol, parents have to use quotes like that. I think it's part of the deal. :hehe:

Yeah seriously, they should have left so many other things alone as well. Like the conventional unit system. When I go to the US, I have to get used to so many other units. Like they use fathom instead of metre; Fahrenheit in lieu of Celsius and so on. It can be so confusing at times, like people say 100 degrees is the temperature outside, m like hundred degrees how can you even survive that heat? :loll: American spellings is another thing which cracks me up :hehe: I cannot whine about the currency cos it is pretty widely accepted all over, moreover, I myself get paid in American dollars :pagel: Bit strange for me. :loll:

I think that wasn't phrased well, I have yet to do my masters, hence I was saying ke I might have to listen to their locutions once again. :hehe:

I would say, school days are the best, make the most of it.

Being an American born, I'm not qunna say anything that bad about my own country lol. But I wish my dad had picked a different country to settle in.
I actually like the British way of spelling things with the "u" and all. I think it's fancier and creates more of a standard. Like plough compared to plow seems a lot more sophisticated.
Oh okay I see. & you know parents will always be parents so of you intend to go back and do your masters you will not hear the end of it.
I'm having a blast at school. Just tensed about my AP exams. Hope I do well in those. Can't wait for college either tho. it'll be a new chapter to unfold.

I wasn't saying anything bad either. Others Ric, don't take it that way. Mere kutt peh jani ethe :hehe:

Yeah Brit English rocks :excited: Thank god you are the only American I have met who sings the praises of British English. :pagel:

I hope so.. it is fun listening to them though :pagel: And even more fun reminiscing those moments over here.

Ap is the acronym for? Me lost :(

No but like honestly speaking, American standard are really low especially education wise. This nation is becoming stupider by the day.

Lol, that's bcus I'm one cool American chic. :P

It is fun listening to them banter on and then actually calculating the logic of their words.

AP - Advanced Placement. They're college level classes taken in highschool and if you get a 3 or higher, you get credit for those courses in college.

Oh I am sure you will leave no stone unturned to achieve that score. Good luck.

I have cousins in the UK, it's not that hard to understand them. but I have my mom by my side while webcamming, just on case I don't have a clue about what they say.

Lol alright.
I really wish they taught us different languages at a young age in the US so by now we can speak it fluently like they do with english in sweden and other european countries. In schools here they teach you languages really late so kids know the basics but it isn't fluent. Like I can understand some spanish, but I can't fluently speak it.
