Mein ta bilkul nama taja admi is forum te aiyan ha. Mein thowatho bahout door betha ha, London vich.

Bas mein thuhanu sariyan noo Sat Sri Akaal kehna chouhnda ha.

Yes folks, I stumbled upon this web forum by accident, I was actually looking for a site that I could download some fine shabads from and, as I said, I found you guys. I read some very interesting postings and thought I could chip some stuff in too. I note most of the poster here are in the US and am not sure if there are many UK based guys on here. Maybe that's because of the time difference.

Thanks for the link for the shabads. I have found Sikhnet quite good too. You see I was looking for Bhai Balwinder Singh Rangila shabads. I can listen to his works day in day out. I love his voice. Ous di avaz sun ke shanty a jandi hai. Dil phir thanda ho janda hai, the phit Punjab di yad a jandi hai.

No, I haven't. But now I shall keep a look out for him too. Thanks.

Sometimes I can't listen to anything else, especially if I am going on long car journeys or if I am on work trip to somewhere like Africa. I know I like Rock music but nothing beats shabads for inner peace.

I hear ya. I'm the same way. Shabads can fill you with emotion and then empty that same emotion to make you see things so clearly.

No, unfortunately the oil companies are not interested in Kenya yet. However, I will be in Nigeria for about six weeks in June and then up to the Yemen for another 3 weeks. After that I will be in Scotland for UK’s North Sea oil production services for September to October and then back in London at head office for the rest of the year.

It not all that. Yes it’s true; I work in the Petro/Gas and Oil exploration industry. I am a contractor specialising in drilling procedures and analysing petro-physical data, porosity-predictions, first oil analysis and saturation-height modelling. I know that sounds a bit technical and boring but its okay.

It takes me all over the world; I have worked in Nigeria, the Gulf, Norway and Russia. This year I have secured a twelve month, extending to eighteen, contract which will take me to the Gulf and back to Nigeria and Yemen.
