Best thing is go to Best buy store and then compare with online price. Sometimes u get good deals in store but sometimes its cheaper online so better is to compare first.

~$1000  bucks... will do anything you need to do plus most other things... 12.5 inch screen (crazy battery life... if you care)

those are probably the ones that I would buy.... depending on the day... cheapness factor... and geekyness.

i would go for the x220 with 9cell(9-12hrs battery life) battery and 4gb ram.... i5 processor... good to go (under 4lbs)

HP is not best brand if you spending 300-400 bucks.. but its the best brand for 1500 bucks (industrial laptops) - You spend the money they get you the best stuff.

Lenova - expensive brand around 800 - 1000 bucks & laptops are industrial use

Acer - Has recently capture a lot of market with cheaper product & amazing quality. There chargers don't give up on you. The laptop. Design not the best, but hardware wise they are good.

ASUS - Only the 10" ones are good - netbooks.

just a quick question. Why is the 10.1 inch asus the only good netbook they have? 12 inch is exactly the same but with a bigger screen and keyboard, unless im missing something...
