Shukria for the response.  Menu Ghumurkhi script for my computer chaida her.  At the moment I can only write in Roman script.  Is there any software or settings that people use?

Shukriaji for the responses.

I got an e-mail from "©o∂€л@m€→47" but I couldn't mail back because it wouldn't recognise your name!  Lol.  Basically is there way of changing the settings on my computer to write in Ghumurki script?  There wasn't anything extant on the above link and I can already read in Ghurmukhi.

I've never used it, but if you want to spend some money, you can get this: http://www.lipikaar.com/help/Punjabi/lipikaar-Punjabi-typing-software-faq

Free Ones
Write Punjabi Online in Browser
Here's a good one: http://www.shriwaheguru.com/punjabi_keyboard.html
Here's the one we use for PJ: http://www.higopi.com/ucedit/Punjabi.html
(If you didn't know right above the reply box, you can see punjabi typewriter or phonetic punjabi)

Write Punjabi in Microsoft Word
I think this is what you're looking for:
- You can also change your default layout of the keyboard to type directly in Gurmukhi: http://guca.sourceforge.net/typography/keyboardlayouts/

- There are also a lot of punjabi fonts, you can download them to your computer. Some of them can be found at sikhnet.com or just search for "punjabi fonts" on google. And you can get applications like GUCA to convert them to unicode to use on the internet.

Oh I know wat you looking for ... Main sochiya tusse punjabi font labde aa... Sorri Veerji

--------------------
Ok as far as I understood you want to change ur Keyboard setting so that you can type punjabi

This is how you do it - Window XP
1. Download This link :  http://www.gurbanifiles.org/unicode/Punjabi_KB%20(based%20on%20AnmolLipi).zip

2. Extract(make sure you do this) the files and Run "SetUp" icon

3. Go to control Panel (Start> Control Panel), Double Click on "Regional and Language Option" (in Classic View for Control Panel)

4. In "Regional and Language Option"... Go To "Language" Tab and Select Check Mark on - Install Files for complex Script and right-to-left language (inculding Thai)" option and Click "OK"
 - Over here you might need you Window XP Cd, as it will promt you to copy files. Copy the required files and Restart Your COmputer

5. After Restarting, Again go to Regional and Language Option (in Control Panel) and Click "Details" and Click "Add" and Select "Punjabi Gurmaki Keyboard based on Animolop" and Click "OK" and also an OK for Regional and Language Setting window (See Image for more detail)

6. Now Left Click on the "Taskbar" and go to toolbars and Select "Language Bar" and the change you Language from "EN" to "PA (Punjabi)" and Start Typing

Even though my Punjabi is still at a very basic level, I'm very much enjoying learning to read and write in Gurmukhi.  The challenge is speaking Punjabi because no-one understands my accent!  Ha ha.  I'm glad to have found this forum and I look forward to learning lots of Punjabi!
