But the thing is that
They strictly support arranged marriage

Arranged Marriage isn't getting married to a stranger. Parents find the best fit partner for you, since they do want the best for you. Most of the time, you do get to know them before you get married.

I'm strongly against arranged marriage. Yes indeed you're marrying a stranger that you've never met nor spoken to before. I think it's crazy. And trust me it doesn't work. I'll post a topic later on, not necessarily about arranged marriage but about the indian tradition.
