simple nd easy

type
netstat
in ur command prompt nd hit enter
observe what it shows, it gives u all ip addresses :)

It wont.. Cause In PJ Chat all u did is opened a website.. so no incomming connection is avaiable
But in Messenger case U r connected remotely with the other person.. Which help this command to identify the incomming connection

But I wouldn't say that this will help u anyways with anything.. As IP get u in hacking stuff.. N y would u hack into someone know..
Also most of the ppl has a Password for log in or turn off there system after use.. So end of story!!

But still appreicate ur share ji :)

this will only help in something connected directly to ur pc, specially for people working in comp field its helpful , u can get all connected devices to your computer from a network, specially dns names.

if we want to use it in chat we should be talking to person in personal message window, like on msn, yahoo etc.

it wont work in chatrooms... cant say abt pms..may be ggscf is right ..

n yes. this command generally used to check d status between d device connected to ur pc on LAN WAN..blah blah(ntw)
ll show u domain name either in bit form or full domain ragistered.. but still in chats ll nt work.....
rest yaar tracing down ips i guess is nt a problem unless u gt a good bunch of brain to hide ur ip .. ...
vaise its easy for admin to trace our ip .. lolzz..
so ppls using multiple ids n using static ips ..be aware,,,... admin nu sab kuch pata hona.... ki kidde kihne kihne id ne.. :happy:

i dont thing this gona work.dis only show network assets connected to my pc.no connection with Chatrooms.
it may use to find the ip address f site only nt users ip.

Netstat tells you network statistics only, Ive been playing with these commands 7 years ago when i was in school in india. Tracert netstat ping and there are alot more than that.
Netstat will just show you the active connections
As DAFFA HONA said we dont have static ips so even if you trace IP of a user thers nothin much you can do about it

Also he is right about the website thing. chat on a website means your on websites java applet that is accompanied on the dedicated server and you guys are just not hosting them
