The next generation of search engines definitely have to tackle this problem. On one of our network sites, Sikh Sangeet, we let the search engine find the latest queries to indicate what our users are searching and what google should be asking our site to deliver. I have noticed that this helps the search engine immensely. Google definitely rates these pages higher on that basis.
