Without a warning, you came into my life.
Without hesitation, you knocked into my heart.
With a heavy heart, I refused to give in.
With a strong determination, you insist to come in.


You told me to trust you and believe in love.
How can I? I've hurt so many times.
You told me to give it a try and set my feelings free.
Let the love lead the way and never worry.


So I gave my heart a chance to love again.
Never think of what tomorrow might bring.
But what did I obtain in exchange of everything?
Only lies because your promises just fade away.


Am I really such a fool to believe in your promises?
A big idiot; never learn from mistakes?
Should I curse myself for being such a masochist?
To love; just to be hurt always.


Others say its better to love than never experience it at all.
To totally submit yourself and give all.
But is it right? Is it true?
Could it justify what I have been through?


I am not expecting for a one perfect love.
To love and be love is already enough.
I'm not looking for Mr. Right or a knight in shining armor perhaps.
All I want is someone who would love me.
Truly, madly, deeply.
