ਰਤਾ ਕੁ ਪੀੜ੍ਹ ਦੇਕੇ ਕੱਟ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਸੂਲੀ
ਫੁੱਲ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਚੰਗਾ ਤਾਹੀਂਓ ਖ਼ਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ

ਸੁਣਿਆ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਮਿਲਦੀ ਪੱਤਣ
ਦੋ ਬੇੜੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਸਦਾ ਸਵਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ

ਅੱਖ ਨਾਲ ਅੱਖ ਨੀਂ ਕਦੇ ਮਿਲਾ ਸਕਦਾ
ਆਦਮੀ ਯਾਰੋਂ ਜੋ ਗੁਨਾਹਗਾਰ ਹੁੰਦਾ
