ਕਿਵੇਂ ਕਹਿ ਦਿਆਂ, ਉਹਦੀ ਯਾਦ ਨੀ ਆਉਂਦੀ

ਚੁੱਪ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਲਫਾਜ਼ੋਂ ਸੱਖ਼ਣੀ

ਓਸੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੀ

 

ਬਚਪਣ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੱਸਣਾ ਓਹਦਾ

ਚੜਦੀ ਉਮਰੇ ਤੱਕਣਾ ਓਹਦਾ

ਜੀਹਦੇ ਆਸਰੇ ਫੁੱਲ ਸੀ ਖਿੜਦੇ

ਧੁੱਪ ਵਰਗਾ ਹਰ ਨੱਖਰਾ ਓਹਦਾ

ਜੇ ਭੁੱਲਾਂ ਵੀ ਤਾਂ ਕੀਹਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲਜਾਂ

ਧੜਕਣ ਤਾਂ ਬਸ ਰੂਹ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੀ

ਚੁੱਪ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਲਫਾਜ਼ੋਂ ਸੱਖ਼ਣੀ

ਓਸੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੀ

 

ਭਾਵੇਂ ਓਹ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਗੀ

ਸੱਧਰਾਂ ਦਾ ਗਲ਼ ਵੱਢ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਗੀ

ਲੱਖ ਫੜਿਆ ਮੈਂ ਰੋਕਿਆ ਓਹਨੂੰ

ਹੱਥਾਂ 'ਚੋਂ' ਹੱਥ ਕੱਢ ਕੇ ਤੁਰਗੀ

ਮੋੜ ਲਿਆਵਾਂ ਉਸ ਚੰਦਰੀ ਨੂੰ

ਬੱਸ, ਏਸੇ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਜਾਂਚ ਨਾ ਆਉਂਦੀ

ਚੁੱਪ ਮੇਰੀ ਅਲਫਾਜ਼ੋਂ ਸੱਖ਼ਣੀ

ਓਸੇ ਦੇ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੀਤ ਸੁਣਾਉਂਦੀ

 

ਝੂਠਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ

ਐਵੇਂ ਥਾਂ ਥਾਂ ਤੇ ਇਕਰਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ

"ਲੱਕੀ" ਯਾਰ ਬਣਾਈਏ ਇਕ ਵਾਰੀ

ਰੱਬ ਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਓਹਦਾ ਇਤਬਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੀਏ

ਜਿਨਾ ਇਸ਼ਕ ਦੀ ਰੁੱਤ ਹੰਢਾਈ ਏਥੇ

ਕੱਚੇ ਤੇ ਓਹ ਤਾਂ ਤਰ ਕੇ ਜਿਉਂਗੀ
