  ਜ਼ਿੰਦ ਯਾਰ ਦੀ ਮੰਗਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਰੱਬਾ ਰੋ ਕੇ
     ਕਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦਾਈ ਮੰਗ ਲਈ
  ਦੇ ਦੇ ਯਾਰ ਮੇਰਾ ਰੱਖ ਨਾ ਲੁਕੋ ਕੇ
       ਕਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦਾਈ ਮੰਗ ਲਈ....

  ਯਾਰਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨੇ ਬਹਾਰਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਗ ਦੇ
    ਬਿਨਾ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਮਹਿਲ ਸੁੰਨੇ ਲੱਗਦੇ
     ਕਿਉਂ ਤੁੰ ਬਹਿ ਗਿਓਂ ਦਿਲਾਂ ਦੇ ਬੂਹੇ ਢੋ ਕੇ
  ਕਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦਾਈ ਮੰਗ ਲਈ....

  ਕਾਹਦਾ ਉਸਦਾ ਜਿਊਣਾ ਜਿਹਦਾ ਯਾਰ ਨਾ
    ਜੀਹਨੂੰ ਯਾਰ ਵਾਲਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾ
  ਦਿਨ ਕੱਟਿਓਂ ਗਮਾਂ ਦੀ ਭੱਠੀ ਝੋ ਕੇ
       ਕਿਹੜੀ ਮੈਂ ਖੁਦਾਈ ਮੰਗ ਲਈ

  ਆ ਗਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਮੈਂ ਦਰਾਂ ਤੇ ਖਾਲੀ ਮੌੜ ਨਾ
  ਰੱਬਾ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਗੈਰ ਕੋਈ ਲੋੜ ਨਾ
    ਦੇਵਾਂ ਹੰਝੂਆਂ ਦੇ ਹਾਰ ਪਰੋ ਕੇ
