Dukh dil de samundron dunghe,
Har ik nu sunaye nahi jande.
Kujh yaar ne pal vich ban jande,
Kujh saari umar bnaye nahi jande.
Kujh yaaran bina nahi ji lagda,
Par oh kol bulaye nahi jande.
Kujh rokan ne samaj diyan,
Te rasam-rivaz ne duniya de.
Kujh jaan ton pyare lagde ne,
Par gal nal laye nahi jande.
