ਜਿਹੜੇ ਹੱਸਦੇ ਨੇ ਬਹੁਤਾ,
ਦਿਲੋਂ ਭਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਉਹਨਾ ਇਸ਼ਕੇ ਚ ਫੱਟ ਬੜੇ ਜਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਰੋਜ ਮਹਿਫਲਾਂ ਸਜਾਉਂਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੱਗ ਨੂੰ ਹਸਾਉਂਦੇ,
ਪਰ ਕਿਹੜਾ ਜਾਣੇ ਅੰਦਰੋਂ ਉਹ ਹਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ,
ਦਿਨੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਲੁਟਾਂਉਦੇ ਰਾਤੀਂ ਡੋਲਦੇ ਨੇ ਹੰਝੂ,
ਬਾਹਰੋਂ ਦਿਸਦੇ ਜਿਊਂਦੇ ਪਰ ਮਰੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਨੇ,


Jehre hasdae nae bahuta,
Dilo pare hundae nae,
ohna Ishq ch faat bare jare hundae nae,
roz mehfila sajodae sare jag nu hasndae,
Per kehra jane andro oh hare hundae nae,
Dinae kushiya latundae rati doldae nae hanjo,
