Hazaran hi qatal mere sir ilzaam ne
jehriya GALIYA'N vich main daffan hoyi ,
ohi tan badnaam ne ,

Ek khatt jis de sirnave gumnaam ne.
barang jehre YAAR de sheharo murr aya,
ohi tan badnaam ne,

Sunke jinhu tu muskave oh mere hi paigaam ne,
deed teri nu jehre tarsan HANJU,
ohi tan badnaam ne,

Tann di chadar te paye sab daag haraam ne,
jehre FATT gujje mere dil te vajje ,
ohi tan badnaam ne.

Zism te havas vikde bazare shar-e-aam ne,
jeriya ROOH'AN 'jatti' pyar naal milan ,
ohi tan badnaam ne,

     punjabi version
ਹਜ਼ਾਰਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਤਲ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਿਰ ਇਲਜ਼ਾਮ ਨੇ
ਜਿਹੜਿਆਂ ਗਲੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਂ ਦਫ਼ਨ ਹੋਈ ,
ਓਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਨੇ ,


ਇੱਕ ਖੱਤ ਜਿਸ ਦੇ ਸਿਰਨਾਵੇਂ ਗੁੰਮਨਾਮ ਨੇ.
ਬਰੰਗ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਯਾਰ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਿਹਰੋਂ ਮੁੜ ਆਏ,
ਓਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਨੇ ,


ਸੁਣ ਜਿਸ ਨੁੰ ਤੂੰ ਮੁਸਕਾਵੇਂ ਓਹ ਮੇਰੇ ਹੀ ਪੈਗਾਮ ਨੇ,
ਦੀਦ ਤੇਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਜਿਹੜੇ ਤਰਸਣ ਹੰਜੂ,
ਓਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਨੇ ,


ਤਨ ਦੀ ਚਾਦਰ ਤੇ ਪਏ ਸਬ ਦਾਗ ਹਰਾਮ ਨੇ,
ਜਿਹੜੇ ਫ਼ੱਟ ਗੁੱਝੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਦਿਲ ਤੇ ਵੱਜੇ ,
ਓਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਨੇ ,


ਜਿਸਮ ਤੇ ਹਵਸ ਵਿੱਕਦੇ ਬਜ਼ਾਰੀਂ ਸ਼ਰ-ਏ-ਆਮ ਨੇ,
ਜਿਹੜਿਆਂ ਰੂਹਾਂ 'ਜੱਟੀ ' ਪਿਆਰ ਨਾਲ ਮਿਲਣ ,
ਓਹੀ ਤਾਂ ਬਦਨਾਮ ਨੇ ,
