Dil kach da har ik htho tutda hi rehnda e;
Nazuk brha eh angg shareer da,
Jo saambh-2 rakhna painda e;
Main puchhda haan rab kolo aj,
Har gair wich menu kyo apnapn disda rehnda e!!

Ik mera dil hi saaf sheesha kyo,
Menu injh hi lgda rehnda e;
Main khol dinda tasvir zindgi di,
Afsos pair rakh har koi; utto di lang janda e;
Unjh pta menu pathar lokan da,
Fer kehri gllo mera eh hnju ronda hi rehnda e!!

Thik keha aksar shayran ne,
E bol hi ne; jo dil nu tukra hona painda e;
Chngi bhli hsdi zindgi nu rona jo painda e,
Shayd ohna wang main “sandhu” v na smjhya,
K ehna krke hi pyar nu nafrat da path prna painda e!!
