This one is well researched by the BBC. There's no Indian gov't bias that is often seen in Indian government's reports that relate to India's human rights.

I really dont get it Why Bindrawala made Akal Thakt as his headquaters & why in 1982 was he accused of killing and killing who? - Anyone know. (13:20)

(19:22) - And then in 1984 then know Government is coming and the wait in Golden temple with Guns. Com'n get out the Gurudawara if you want a fight - In the history of sikhism a fight was never fought in a Gurudawara.

23:23 - Jezz,,,, such a sad story after this. :|

25:52 - Bud u killed so many innocents..You better be scared - and he dont know what is he aruging on. hadh aa.
What a awsome question - In 25 years you have any regrets? & Was it worth paying?  And Answer - Made BS!!

Will Catch up after 30:00 mins later.

A sad story. :(

36:36 - what a dreadful story of just one family; and so many families that disappeared with no-one to tell the story.

My View - Had Bindrawala not made the akal thakat as his headquater, Our gurudawara would not be laid under blood. And no many innocent families killed - who vanished in air... would have survived.

Punjab has change after this event - Now almost 50% of sikhs are living outside as they want to be at peace and moved out. Many families who moved out were suffering from the government or their own Katarr Sikhs Brothers.

I'm sad you used to have arguments about this topic and yet you don't know. :(
He was accused of killing Gurbachan (Nakli Nirankari), who once said "If Guru Gobind Singh can make five beloved ones, he will make seven stars". Brief history is here: http://www.sikh-history.com/sikhhist/events/attack841.html

Your argument about making Harimander Sahib as his headquarters:
- It is often said that Akal Takht is the political headquarters of Sikhism. That is how Guru Hargobind Sahib ji operated it also. Bindranwala is no guru of course, but the fact remains as to what Akal Takht is a symbol of. It is our highest seat of authority. Bhindranwala was the strongest outspoken force of those times, which is the reason he was probably accused of killing Gurbachana, even though there was no evidence against him.

I am not up for an argument!

All I am saying is my heart just go down with all the families who suffer the aftermath with some of the vague decisions made in 1984, which can be put up either way - depending on Person prespective: Means you might says they are the best decision ever; But I will say they are responsible for lot of killing and shedding blood on my gurudwara - All about prespective.

Punjab has turn on its head in the 6-8 years of unforgivable volience, with almost 50% Sikhs moving out from the country. With even Sikh killing an other sikh for not having hairs or not tieing a turban - That never happened in 15-19 century then why in late 1980's that killing on base of turban started? - Lot of things are ingored by Sikhs too these days.

Sant ji was accused of killing lala jagat narain the local newspaper editor... who once said Guru Gobind Singh ji was just another Maharaja who enjoyed the lavish lifestyle..
then later he was also accused to killing the nirakari gurbanchna .. who openly disrespected the Guru Granth Sahib ji and also was responsible for the bloodshed that happened on vaisakhi in 1978
