most of the cars had halogens before now some expensive cars such as mazda's nissan honda merc bmw they are doing it factory
if you see a projector light reflectors they are legal HID's
If you put a HID in normal reflector it will disperse all the ways and cause trouble to see to on going traffic.
I got xenon gas filled in my ford, got HID philips D2R in chaser and just ordered HIDs for skyline

What Is HID?

HID stands for "High Intensity Discharge". HID lights get their name from the intense white light produced by the electrical discharge.
HID lights are a different type of lighting technology utilized in automobiles for greater effectiveness and greater efficiency. Unlike Halogen (or incandescent) bulbs, HID bulbs do not have filaments.

my friend got one. he works with me .. apple have created a special case which gets fixed on the sideways of the fone.

simple , you keep the phone on table .. and then count signal bars.
for example  there are 3 bars.

now hold it with ur fingers on the metal part of the phone. the signal bars goes to 5. ur body acts as a antenna.
