2009 Mitsuoka Orochi The Mitsuoka Orochi sports car is named after an eight-headed serpent from Japanese folklore. In 2001 it was displayed in concept form with the production version appearing a few years later. Aesthetically, little changed during that period. Its appearance is exotic and indicative of a supercar, however, its engine does not do its low, wide, aerodynamic appearance justice. The engine is a Toyota 3MZ-Fe which can also be found in the Camry, Sienna, Highlander, Solaraand the Lexus RX. The 3.3-liter V6 engine is mounted mid-ship and offers around 230 horsepower. It is mated to a Toyota 5-speed automatic. Performance figures were not shared, but judging from the 3400 pound overall weight, it is unlikely it could keep pace with other similarly styled supercars. ------------

A Pak sikh thrashed for not converting into Muslim A Sikh advocate in Pakistan was reportedly thrashed and threatened with dire consequences recently if he did not convert to Islam, forcing his family to run for safety to a gurdwara in Hassanabdal near Rawalpindi. While the victim, Anup Singh, was yet to regain consciousness, the incident has left the Sikh community in Pakistan rattled and insecure. Talking to Indian media from Islamabad, Anup’s brother, Ravinder Singh, recalled horror of November 21. ‘‘A group of at least eight men kidnapped my brother from his office and took him to Mohammad Amin’s residence, where he was stripped and photographed with Amin’s wife.’’ Undergoing treatment for fractures and severe head injuries in Holy Family Hospital, Ralwalpindi, where doctors said it might take a few months before Anup could start leading a normal life, He has also complained that even the hospital was not giving the medical report of Anup's case after six days. The advocate was reportedly assaulted for fighting a separation case for Amin’s wife, Safina Kanwal. ‘‘The goons made my brother sign on a blank paper, after which they cut his hair, beard, moustaches and threatened him to convert to Islam if he wanted to live in Pakistan.’ Avtar Singh Makkar, president of Shiromani Gurdwara Parbhandhak Committee (SGPC) has condemned the incident and said to give a memorandum to the Pakistan High Commission soon.He said that he would also seek an appointment with the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and urged to take up the matter of security of the Sikh community living in Pakistan. There are about 10,000 Sikhs living in Pakistan or may be little less then that as some sikh family run from pakistan and came to india as they has been forced to pay Rs 20 million as jazia (religious tax) to the Taliban so as to return to their home, resume their business and to live in pakistan- By Ravinder Singh Robin (ANI)

Meccan Exciter Supercar Here are all the current Meccan Exciter Supercar renderings released so far. It’s design was just currently completed. All required CAD/CAM drawings and specs have been completed and are ready to proceed with the production of a rolling prototype. There are expected to be 3 versions of the Meccan Exciter available: Hard Top, Targa Top, and a Competition model. The Meccan Exciter utilizes a tubular chassis with extensive Carbon Fiber body work. The car will house a GM Duramax 6.6L Turbo Diesel engine tuned by Banks Engineering mated to either a Gearfox or Xtrac Sequential transmission. This engine should be tuned to deliver 650hp and 800ft-lbs of torque. The Meccan Exciter is planned to be built in Toronto Canada at the now decommissioned Downsview Airforce Base. They would sell customer competition cars as well as field their own team. They are currently seeking an investor to fund the build of the first car.

There was a Japanese who went to India for sightseeing. On the last day, he hired a cab and told the driver to drive to the Airport.
During the journey, a Honda drove past the taxi. Thereupon, the man leaned out of the window excitedly and yelled, "Honda, very fast! Made in Japan !!!.
After a while, a Toyota sped past the taxi and again the Japanese man leaned out of the window and yelled, "Toyota, very fast! Made in Japan!"
And then a Mitsubishi sped past the taxi. For the third time, the Japanese leaned out of the window and yelled, "Mitsubishi, very fast! Made in Japan!"
The driver was a little angry, but he kept quiet. And this went on for quite a number of cars.
Finally, the taxi came to the airport. The fare was 800 rupees. !!!!The Japanese exclaimed, "What??… so expensive!"
There upon, the driver yelled back, "Meter, Made in India VERY VERY FAST !!!!! :hehe:
