2011 GMC Acadia Denali Inside the 2011 GMC Acadia Denali, there's a mahogany steering wheel, perforated leather heated and cooled front seats, head-up display, dual sunroof, tri-zone climate control, special footwell lighting, chromed sill plates with red light-up Denali badging, and most every other creature comfort you can imagine (rear-seat entertainment remains optional). The Acadia Denali will be available in front- and all-wheel drive, and seven- and eight-passenger configurations. The standard engine is GM's ever-present 3.6L direct-injected V-6, and maximum towing capacity is 5200 lbs. The Acadia gets a suspension retune to compensate for larger diameter wheels and available all-wheel drive. The EPA's fuel economy ratings don't change: 17/24 mpg for the front-drive models, while all-wheel drive knocks 1 mpg off both ends.

2011 Lincoln MKX 2011 MKX is Ford's latest Duratec V-6 engine. Updating the current engine required punching out an extra 200 cc's to 3.7L. When combined with variable timing on all of the camshafts, the result was an extra 40 hp and 30 lb.-ft. of torque for a total of 305 hp and 280 lb.-ft. More impressive is that along with these double-digit increases in power ratings, the MKX retains its claimed class-leading ability to return 25 mpg on the freeway, and does all of this on regular unleaded. A "smart" charging system that reduces engine drag and a manually shiftable six-speed automatic transmission help further.

Next on Godzilla's menu: a monstrously powerful, outrageously expensive sports coupe from Bentley. Bentley? Are we insane? Not really, but take a quick run through the specs and decide for yourself: Now take a look at the video

TWO men who died after a fight sparked by a dispute over money in a suburban Perth street were Indian students, police have confirmed.
A third Indian national, aged 22, was being questioned by police tonight over the deaths, which detectives are treating as a double homicide.
Detective Inspector David Bryson said early investigations pointed to a dispute over money as the trigger for the incident.
"Essentially that's it - there's been a dispute about money and things have obviously escalated,'' he said.
"It's obviously taken a life of its own from there.''
The detective said a badly injured 20-year-old man made his way to a St John Ambulance depot at Morley, in Perth's east, about 4am (WST) today.
He told ambulance officers that another man lay injured in a nearby street.
"That male has been injured and he's alerted them to the fact there's another male injured not too far away,'' Det Insp Bryson said.
The man who reported to ambulance officers was taken to hospital but died later from his injuries.
The body of a 19-year-old man was found outside a unit in Crimea Street, Morley, where both men were believed to have lived with "a bunch of friends'', Det Insp Bryson said.
The Major Crime Squad confirmed on Friday that all three men involved in the altercation were Indian nationals.
The two deceased men both held current overseas student visas, while the 22-year-old being questioned by police was living in Australia on an international student visa.
Their names would not be released until relatives in India had been notified, a statement from WA Police said.
Det Insp Bryson could not say if the incident may have been related to a drug debt and would not reveal the injuries sustained

Mercedes-Benz F 700 Research Car Mercedes-Benz shows the future of the superior touring sedan Stuttgart – With its F 700 research car, Mercedes-Benz redefines the idea of effortless, superior refinement: this concept for a future luxurious touring sedan shows how outstanding riding quality can be combined with high levels of environmental friendliness, and good performance with exceptionally low fuel consumption. Thus, the 5.17 meter long F 700 with its innovative and very spacious interior design enables an entirely new and exceedingly comfortable mode of travel. The F 700 is the world’s first car that can anticipatively recognize the condition of the road and level out the uneven spots with its active PRE-SCAN suspension, further improving suspension comfort substantially. The forward-pointing DIESOTTO drive system introduced in the F 700, four-cylinder with a displacement of only 1.8 liters, combines the strong points of the low-emission gasoline engine with the consumption benefits of the diesel drive. Its CO2 emissions of a mere 127 grams per kilometer correspond to consumption of only 5.3 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers (44.3 mpg), extremely low for a vehicle of this class. This is made possible by a forward-looking drive concept, the heart of which is the “DIESOTTO” technology – an advancement of the internal combustion engine thought up by Mercedes-Benz. With its novel controlled auto ignition (CAI), direct fuel injection and turbocharging, it combines the high power of the spark-ignition engine with the exemplary torque and great fuel economy of a diesel. The drive system in the F 700, as four-cylinder featuring two-stage charging, attains the performance level of a current S-Class car with a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated V6 gasoline engine or the 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel. “Our goal is to make the gasoline-powered car just as economical in consumption as the diesel.

Vauxhall Insignia The new Vauxhall Insignia launches with a range of five engines, all of which meet Euro 5 emissions standards. The three petrol engines range from 140 to 260PS and two new 2.0-litre turbo-diesels are available with either 130 or 160PS. All engines are highly competitive in terms of CO2 and fuel consumption in their respective power output categories. In Spring 2009, two additional powertrains - a 180PS 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol and a BiTurbo version of the 2.0 CDTi with 190PS - will become available. An ecoFLEX version with low CO2 emissions will also join the lineup. Apart from the auto-only 260PS V6 model, each engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, with all but the 1.8-litre petrol model being available with the optional six-speed automatic transmission. Adaptive 4x4 is standard on 260PS V6 models, and optional on 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol cars. 2.8 V6 Turbo ECOTEC The Insignia's most powerful engine at launch will be the 2.8 V6 Turbo, which develops 260PS and 350Nm of torque between 1900 and 4500rpm.
